ALIGNMENT NOTCH /" (0mm) : Use these dimensions when locating the center point of the aperture during the installation process. Align the fixture using a laser or a chalk line. NOTE: Drywall anchor screens may be removed, if the joist are less than /" apart. : After fixture is positioned, tighten all (0) screws on hanger bars. (NOT CENTER IN FIXTURE) MUST BE FLUSH WITH JOIST : Hanger bars must align and remain flush with joist. : After installation, pull on fixture to ensure there is no movement.

5 DRYWALL CTRACTOR E G CUTOUT DRYWALL 9 PLASTER FLANGE FRAME ROTARY TOOL LOOSEN WINGNUTS TO ADJUST PLASTER FLANGE FRAME : Drywall contractor must install drywall and cut /" (5mm) X /" (0mm) hole with rotary cutting tool around fixture or pre-cut hole in drywall prior to installation. 6 I TIGHTEN WINGNUTS TO ADJUST PLASTER FLANGE FRAME K : Tighten () wing nuts securely. : Loosely attach plaster plate using all () screws. LAMP LOCKING RING LOUVER AND LENS LOCKING RING SNOOT LAMP HOLDER : Electrian must anchor drywall anchor screens. Insert screws through drywall into anchor screen on fixture. : Check to ensure that the plaster plate is flush and even with the drywall. 6

7 M O 5 RED, GREEN AND BLUE LED UPLIGHT, MAKE SURE ALL THREE LED'S ARE WORKING. MR6 HALOGEN ACCENT LIGHT (NO MR6 LED) RED, GREEN AND BLUE LED UPLIGHT, MAKE SURE ALL THREE LED'S ARE WORKING. HANDS MUST BE CLEAN WHEN ADJUSTING FIXTURE 5: Turn on and test MR6 and LEDs to ensure they are properly installed. : Tilt and rotate MR6 as needed. When lamp is properly adjusted secure pan lock. N P OPEN SPACE RACK GEAR COVER TOP CLIP HANDS MUST BE CLEAN WHEN ADJUSTING FIXTURE BOTTOM CLIP : Measure the distance of the open space on the track. 6: To aim lamp, loosen pan lock, rotate and position the pan rotation ring. 9: Remove the protective film from the gear cover. 0: Cut the gear cover to fit the space if necessary.

10 OPERATI GUIDE FOR PDSA RGB Control Color changing LEDs combine red, green and blue light at different intensities to create dynamic color effects. The color of an AURORA RGB can be either permanently assigned to the fixture during installation or adjusted remotely with the use of an external controller. Any external controller can be used so long as it uses the standardized lighting communication protocol known as DMX. Operating in a DMX environment gives the user the greatest flexibility when it comes to customizing or creating dramatic effects. Depending on the functionality of the controller, you will be able to control each individual color and each fixture independently. Selecting Modes The AURORA RGB operates in Stand Alone Mode or DMX Mode. The mode can be selected with DIP switch #0 (See Figure A). On=DMX Mode Off=Stand Alone Mode. Any adjustments to the DIP switch settings should be made with electricity removed from device. Stand Alone Mode In this mode, DIP switches -9 are used to select a fixed color for applications where only one color is needed and no controller is present. Enter this mode by placing DIP switch #0 OFF. Multiple DIP switches can be adjusted to blend custom colors. Any adjustments to the DIP switch settings should be made with electricity removed from device. In Stand Alone Mode the device will not respond any DMX signals. Figure A Aurora RGB PDS-A DMX Mode In this mode, DIP switches -9 are used to select the DMX starting address. Any address -50 is possible. Enter this mode by placing DIP switch #0. Any adjustments to the DIP switch settings should be made with electricity removed from device. In the event that no DMX signal is present for any period of time greater than second, the AURORA RGB will revert to Signal Loss Mode. In this mode all LEDs will glow at 50% intensity until the DMX signal is resorted. 0

11 DMX Addressing DMX mode enables the use of an external DMX controller. Each fixture requires a "start address" from to 50. A fixture requiring one or more channels for control begins to read the data on the channel indicated by the start address. For example, a fixture that occupies or uses channels of DMX and was addressed to start on DMX channel 00, would read data from channels: 00, 00, and 00, Choose start addresses so that the channels used do not overlap and notate the start address selected for future reference. Each Aurora RGB fixture uses three channels of control.
