3 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Members, November has a lot in store for us. First, we plan an Education night on November 5. This education session will cover basic and advanced techniques for image editing using Lightroom 4, which I have found is a really great and creative program for image editing. I plan to present the basics, and Henry Heerschap has graciously volunteered to present some advanced techniques. Our objective is to help those that are trying to decide whether to purchase this software, and to help those who are using this software by showing some useful techniques. Second, we plan to vote on new By-Laws on digital/slide night. You may recall these new By-Laws are simply a consolidation of the existing ones and the existing Constitution, with a few minor updates. I have received some input from the members and plan to send out the final draft within a week. This will hopefully help you with the decision to vote yea or nay. Happy Halloween and see you soon. Bill Royce, President Lauren Heerschap Frankenstein Time Warp 3 November 2012 In Focus
