3 The Pilchuck Camera Club Newsletter Serving members from the Puget Sound Area of Washington State The Pilchuck Camera Club was organized June 12, 1964 and is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs (NWCCC). Membership is open to any-one interested in color or monochromatic digital photography. Club meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the Baker Heights Social Hall, 1401 Poplar Street, Everett, WA. 5 Pilchuck Camera Club Meeting Minutes Reminder: We no longer have a Field Trip organizer. After 17 years Steve is turning over the reins to someone else. This does not have to be an individual, but easily can be a committee with a shared workload. Let Steve know if you and/or a group have interest. - editor The monthly meeting of the Pilchuck Camera Club was held on July 12, 2018 and called to order by President Steve Lightle at 7:00pm. There were 19 members present and 12 guests. Minutes of the May 2018 meeting was accepted. Treasure Paula Kelley reported $ in the Treasury. We had 2 guests, Harvey Wad and Mel Dygert joined the club. Co-Vice President Sonya Lang presented certificates to the winners of the June monthly competition. The Judges were: Paula Kelly, Linda Davis and Doug Goodman Correspondence: none PSA: Sonya Lang will be the new Representative. Any future images for PSA will be sent to Sonya. NWCC: The November Conference will be held at Everett Community College, more info to follow. Field Trips: Steve Lightle will no longer be the Chairman for the club Field Trips. A new member needs to be appointed. This is an amendment to the June 2018 club minutes. The Trip to Utah has been confirmed with reservations made by members. Tabulation and Projection: were by Bill Schwarz and Steve Lightle. There were 32 Regular, 13 Challenge Program for the evening: Guest Speaker Bill Ray had a program on Focus stacking, Birds in Flight, and Lightroom. August Meeting: Tracy Carson will have Kevin Finn McNeal, a professional landscape photographer from the Pacific Northwest who travels quite extensively be a guest speaker at the August 9, 2018 club meeting.
