Quilting Options There is HELP!!! What is the theme? Hearts! Stitch in the Ditch around applique
There is HELP!!! Let the fabric give you cues. Crosshatching and hearts repeated throughout the quilt Stitch in the Ditch around applique
There is HELP!!! Quilting Options Option: Change all borders so the flowers are positioned the same as the top border. The way you piece your quilts may change now that you can see the influence the quilting can make.
There is HELP!!! Look for something that is not obvious in the piecing. Great ideas for quilting this border Piano Key Chevron
There is HELP!!! Repeat the same element throughout quilt Crosshatch small block and center of the feather in large block
There is HELP!!! This has possibilities! Audition different ideas. The first one is not always the winner. Getting closer! UGG! Maybe not! Drawing saves a lot of unpicking later.
Audition different ideas. There is HELP!!! The first one is not always the winner. Drawing saves a lot of unpicking later. UGG! Maybe not! This may work for a Halloween quilt. Eliminating ideas is just as important as coming up with good ideas!!!! That idea may work on another quilt at another time!!!
There is HELP!!! Quilting Options Hang your quilts on a design wall and take a step back. What does the overall quilt tell you? By looking at this quilt, maybe it needs. Flowers?
Audition different ideas There is HELP!!!
There is HELP!!! The quilting in the black blocks will show very little. Option: Change the thread color to a lighter thread if your choice is to have the quilting show. Straight lines frame the basket block
There is HELP!!! Quilting Options What are the cues in this quilt? Flowers? Lots of flowers!!!
There is HELP!!! Busy prints are hard to compete with so keep it simple. Quilting shows better in light areas Thread color will make a difference in light areas.
There is HELP!!! Create a new element or shape Audition different options for dividing the areas into segments. Then fill with your choice of designs.
There is HELP!!! Sometimes the obvious is the best!
There is HELP!!! Quilting Options Open real estate for quilting to show.
There is HELP!!! Quilting will show in border because of the simple small print.
There is HELP!!! Stitch in the ditch around all red triangles Micro fill the white area to make the red triangles pop
There is HELP!!! Repeat the design from other blocks to unify quilt.
There is HELP!!! Quilting Options The solid colored fabric in this quilt gives lots of opportunity for the quilting to show
There is HELP!!! Let s go for the modern look in the quilting on this quilt.
There is HELP!!! Modern quilting can be repetitive simple designs HQ Mini Circle Ruler is great to get uniform circle shapes
