2 Page 2 Parallel Block Unit Simple and bold, great for the minimalist at heart. (Or a guy who loves quilts but is afraid to admit it.) Parallel Block Unit rotated 90⁰,180⁰ & 270⁰ 64" square This configuration has been described by an enthusiast as Waves, rays, vibrations all look something like this!

3 Page 3 Inverted and Mirrored Block Unit Very dimensional. A design with immediate graphic impact. Parallel & Flipped Block Unit rotated 90⁰,180⁰ & 270⁰ A different spin on the pinwheel. More like whirling lightning flashes.

4 Page 4 Flipped & Mirrored Block Unit Maybe this can be called To-and-fro. There is a very definite rocking motion to this one caused by the strong back-and-forth of the end-to-end triangles. One Quarter Flipped Block Unit rotated 90⁰,180⁰ & 270⁰ Baby Boy version Adult version The strong center of this makes a very balanced, tranquil and peaceful design. Good for a baby. Add a simple striped border and you are done!

5 Page 5 Mirrored A Mirrored B A simple and elegant design. Good for a bed. A 96 square (Queen Size bed quilt) made up from three fabrics using 20 Mirrored A Blocks and 16 Mirrored B blocks.

9 About the fabric line Sketchbook designed by Yolanda Fundora for Blank Quilting. Page 9 I spend a lot of time staring at the flower shapes in gardens. I don t always have a camera handy to record a particularly nice flower shape. Sometimes when I get back to my studio I do little doodles of what caught my eye that day. The idea for the Sketchbook fabric was a result of this pastime. I was thumbing through a small journal on my desk and came upon a sketch of a paisley with little flowers inside. A bit further on I saw that I had tucked in sketches of some flower shapes that I really liked though I could not recall what they were anymore. I liked the feel of the of the quick drawings and thought I d like to capture that in a fabric. Pretty soon I was searching for and scanning all the little drawings I could find into Photoshop and trying to coax repeats out of them. Naturally, there was nothing to do but call the line Sketchbook and doodle on. It comes in 3 colorways: A Sienna, Tan, Garnet and Black combination... very Tuscan; a clean Pink, Lime and Butter Yellow... fresh and springlike, & an Aqua, Sky, Teal, and Turquoise combination... a summery, sophisticated look Sketchbook 5618-black
