3 SSEMLY NSTRUTONS SSEMLY NSTRUTONS 1. Remove chain (), ring (EE) and screw collar loop (DD) from preassembled threaded nipple on crossbar (). Then, attach crossbar () outlet box (not included) using mounting screws (). Note: The threaded nipple should protrude outward. ardware Used Mounting Screw rossbar x Pull out the supply wires and supply ground wire from the outlet box. Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from wire ends. Make wire connections: onnect the smooth wire (marked) from fixture the black supply wire with a wire nut (). onnect the ridged wire (unmarked) from fixture the white supply wire with a wire nut (). ttach the fixture ground wire the crossbar () with the preassembled green ground screw. Then connect it the supply ground wire with a wire nut (). Tape wire nuts () and wires gether with electrical tape (not included) and carefully tuck wires back in the outlet box. 3 ardware Used 2. ttach screw collar loop (DD) the threaded nipple of crossbar (). hoose the desired length of chain (), using a soft cloth and pliers (none included) avoid damaging the finish of chain () if any links are being removed. Note: The p and botm section of chain () are required. Open the p section of the chain () and attach it the screw collar loop (DD). Pass the chain () through canopy () and ring (EE). Then weave the fixture wire and the fixture ground wire from fixture () through the chain (), ring (EE), canopy (), screw collar loop (DD) and the threaded nipple on crossbar (). 2 DD Wire nut x 3 4. Screw the pole () on decoration () and set aside. Open the botm section of the chain () and attach it the flying ring preassembled on pole () Remove hex nut () from the threaded nipple (). Note: The assistance of another person is recommended hold up fixture () during this step. 9 ardware Used DD rossbar Screw ollar Loop DD EE EE hain anopy 7. Remove preassembled check rings (E) from sockets of fixture (). nstall glass shades (D), then secure with check rings (E). nstall light bulbs (not included). Use 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulbs or halogen/l/led equivalents Remove the plug () from the slot (), then remove the fixture () from the threaded nipple (). Reverse the fixture (), inserting the new plug () in the slot (). 10 ssembly is now complete. E D 8. To reverse the direction of the sockets after the initial installation, first remove knob (), and cover () and save them for later use Re-tighten the hex nut () secure fixture () on threaded nipple (). Then, re-attach cover () and knob () complete re-installation
