4 4. Generating a test matrix fr finding the ptimal parameters If yu d nt knw the parameters fr yur wrk, it is helpful t generate a matrix t find the ptimal parameters. This tutrial describes hw t use all 16 clrs available in the Trtec laser sftware JbCntrl. Yu can assign a different parameter set t each clr and send all 16 clrs t the laser at the same time. In the engraved matrix yu can cmpare the results and easily chse the best parameter set. This is dne in just a few simple steps: T find the crrect parameter, it is necessary t use the crrect dpi value. T find the crrect dpi value, yu have t send the jb with varying dpi settings. Draw 16 rectangles e.g. f 12 mm 5 mm each and fill them with the individual Jb- Cntrl clrs. As shwn belw: Send the jb first with a reslutin f 500 dpi, then with 600 dpi and finally with 1000 dpi. 5 Assign individual parameters t each f the 16 clrs in the material database. Set the pwer fr each clr t 100 % and vary the speed in steps f 5 % frm 25 % t 100 % speed. 7 6. Step-by-step instructins fr using markslid spray Applying markslid Spray 114: Shake the can well. Start spraying frm a distance f 10 cm 30 cm. 8 7. Step-by-step instructins fr using markslid Paste with r withut airbrush Applying markslid Paste: Shake the cntainer well. Dilute the paste accrding t the descriptin (with alchl r water). Apply it as a fam; the result shuld be a smth film ver the whle engraving area. Applying markslid Paste by airbrush: Fr using markslid by airbrush, fllw the dilutin steps accrding t the descriptin. Clean and dry the cntainer frm the airbrush well bevr filling the markslid diluted paste. Use a nzzle f mm fr the airbrush. Start spraying frm a distance f 30 cm. 8. Safety instructins Apply the markslid prducts in a well-ventilated area. Wear respiratry prtectin when using the spray r airbrush. Wear safety glves. 10 10. Laser marking Start with the 1 st jb (500 dpi). Use the same settings and cntinue with the 600-dpi jb and then with the 1000-dpi jb. After laser marking, clean the piece f metal with water and a clth. Cmpare the results f the three jbs; the ne with the best results is the ne with the ptimal reslutin.
