Ingredients fr Ancient Egyptian Bread Recipe 1) 245g whle wheat flur. 2) 200ml water. 3) 1/2 tsp. salt. 4) 7g Dry Yeast. Bake Like an Egyptian 1) Put flur and salt in an versized bwl. 2) Mix Dry Yeast with the water. 3) Slwly add water. 4) Take turns kneading the dugh. 5) Spread flur n a clean, flat surface. 6) Rll dugh int small balls. 7) Frm balls int flat rund shapes r triangles. 8) Cver with a clth fr ne t tw hurs. Chse a game that yu knw well. Hw culd yu adapt the rules t make yur wn versin? Write up the new rules in easy t fllw steps and share them with smene else t try ut yur game. Perhaps yu might like t bring yur instructins int schl t try at playtime? Think abut the space that yu wuld need t play the game, the time that it will take, hw t keep the scre and any equipment yu will yu will need. Once yu have tried it, are there any imprvements yu can make? Yu might like t recrd and share what it is yu d this week r yu might like t chse t spend this week being busy with yur family. 3 Year 3 Maths Hme-Learning Grid Cmplete ne f these activities a week. Write the shrt date and highlight when yu cmplete a task. Chant yur dubles and halves t 20 e.g. 1 and 1 is 2, 2 and 2 is 4, 3 and 3 is 6, 10 and 10 is 20 etc. Can yu get t 30? 50? 100? Practise yur 2, 5 and 10 times tables r 3, 4 and 6 times tables. Make cards with the questin n ne side and the answer n the ther. Use them t practise with. Write ut yur full name in capital letters. Which letters in yur name are symmetrical? Hw many letters in the alphabet are symmetrical? Hw many different ways can yu make 24 frm these numbers? What ther numbers can yu make? Tables in ur class seat 6 children. If there were 60 children in year 3, hw many tables will be needed? Draw yur wrking ut if it helps. Hw else culd yu slve the prblem? Practise yur mental additin strategies. Pick a number f yur chice. Hw many different ways can yu create yur number using additin? Share yur answers with an adult. Yu leave fr yur hliday at 9 am and yu arrive at yur destinatin at 8pm. Hw much time has elapsed? Hw many mre time prblems can yu think f and slve? I have 8 friends and I want t give them all a drink f range juice. Each f their drink bttles hld ½ a litre. Hw many 2 litre bttles d I need t buy?
