After only a year in the bus iness, she is making her pres - ence known and her top producing colleagues are taking notice. It takes a special talent to find success so quick - ly in the com petitive Orange County real estate market, where it often takes many years for a good agent to get a foothold. From Irene s point-of-view, she is just getting started. As a Southern California native from a real estate family, Irene developed a pas - sion for the industry from an early age. Unfortunately her aspirations of becom - ing a REALTOR were initially, put on hold. When I took the state exam for

3 Keller Williams Realty my license at the age of 18, I didn t pass and I basically let my dreams of be - coming a REALTOR fade into the background. Over the several years that followed, both the joys and the chal - lenges in life, combined to create a clear perspective that com pelled her to pick up where she left off; to be come the real estate professional she had always en - visioned. The delight of motherhood and wanting to provide the best for her beautiful children and the somber un - certainty that comes from a diagnosis of stomach cancer served as powerful moti - vators for Irene to make every day count. I needed to pursue what I ve always been truly pass ionate about, I was no longer going to let my fears prevent me from fol lowing my dreams and I finally got my license. It took me 28 years, but I am now doing what I have always wanted to do and it s a good feeling.
