This is going to be a great topic on Air Filtration for Protecting Human Health in the Built Environment. Our very own Gerald Lamping will be speaking on this topic. Mr. Lamping is an expert on achieving a high standard of Indoor Air Quality in all environments, so you don t want to miss this meeting. See page 3 for more details. The Sporting Clays Shoot is fast approaching and will be held next Thursday at the San Antonio Gun Club. Big thanks to all of the sponsors who have graciously donated their time and money to make this event successful, as well as all the individuals who have signed up to shoot in this event. There might be room for 2 or 3 more teams/ spots if you would still like to sign up. 4 PAGE 4 UPCOMING CHAPTER MEETINGS ENGINEERING JOKE OF THE MONTH Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Manager asked the young engineer fresh out of university, "And what starting salary were you looking for?" The engineer said, "In the neighborhood of $100,000 a year, depending on the benefit's package." The HR Manager said, "Well, what would you say to a package of $200,000 a year, 5 weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every 2 years - say, a red Mercedes?" The engineer sat up straight and said, "Wow!!! Are you joking?" And the HR Manager said, "Of course,...but you started it."
