1 June 2017 SUMMER HOURS Beginning July 1: Monday-Saturday 11am-4pm Muse award comes home The media has certainly done a good job of covering the American Maple Museum s big win! WWNY 7 News covered the story along with online news source linkinglewiscounty.com. The Journal and Republican newspaper printed the story which prompted interviews from the Empire Farm and Dairy newspaper and Museum Minute. After all of the attention from the media, the Museum finally brought home the MUSE Award! The MUSE Award was unveiled during the Maple Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. For some attendees this was a happy surprise, for others it was a long awaited homecoming. Executive Director Christine Colon accepted the award on May 7 at the MUSE Awards ceremony held in St. Louis, Missouri. Ms. Colon took advantage of the opportunity to showcase the American Maple Museum and the award winning Maple Audio Tour at the Museum Expo held in conjunction with the American Alliance of Museums Annual Conference and MUSE Awards Ceremony. Over 5,000 individuals attended the event.
