1 Your Personal Branding Checklist FROM INVISIBLE TO IRRESISTIBLE IN 5 STEPS Essential action steps for every wonderfully weird entrepreneur

2 From Invisible to Irresistible in 5 Steps Do you have a Personal Brand? I mean a real PERSONAL brand. Are you not sure? What is your answer to the following questions? Do you know who your clients are? Do you know what they want that only YOU can give them? Do you know how to stand out? Do you have a well-defined niche? A method? Whose go-to person or expert are you? Does your brand help you to get more clients and earn real money doing what you're obviously good at? Does it bring you the level of success you long for? If I wake you up in the middle of the night can you tell me why you are completely different from the other health, wealth, birth, lifestyle, business, wealth... etc. coaches? Do you know what sets you apart from all the other artists, creatives, designers, organizers, social workers, musicians, shaman, photographers, researchers, yoga teachers, actresses, lawyers, chefs, farmers, scientists.... all the entrepreneurs out there? Do you know why you are unique and do you capitalize on that uniqueness e-ve-ry single day? Yes? Congratulations! Wow, I'm impressed. Not yet? That's okay, you're not the only one. In fact, even well-known entrepreneurs find it hard to answer these questions. I'm going to help you! Keep reading because I'm going to tell you why it's super important but also deeply insightful and transformational to have a personal brand. I co-created effective personal and visual brands with hundreds of ambitious wonderfully weird female entrepreneurs and for Big Brands like KLM - and I'm a former 'all over the place' I'm-not-good-enough-er. Yes, I know what I'm talking about. Ready? Let's start by defining what personal branding is not. A Personal Brand is not your logo, website, font or brand colors. That is your visual Identity. A personal brand is a way to consciously differentiate yourself from your peers. It's a carefully crafted way to stand out. Never a way to diminish others - because that's the old way of entrepreneurship where you see other entrepreneurs as the enemy. Let's get to work.

Your Checklist 1. DO YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD? When you introduce yourself do you say: "I m A coach?" or "I m AN artist?" Personal branding is Consciously Differentiate yourself from the crowd.

Don't be afraid to say something like: I am THE... I help/support.... who... so... (You fill in the blanks) Example: I am THE wonderfully weird Branding Queen.

That means that you ALWAYS need to be specific and aware of how you introduce yourself. In real life and online. Give yourself a title and name nobody will ever forget. Don't be afraid to say something like: I am THE... I help/support.... who... so... (You fill in the blanks) Example: I am THE wonderfully weird Branding Queen. I help wonderfully weird female entrepreneurs create an unforgettable authentic personal brand so they can manifest their dreams and change the world. 2. DO YOU UNDERSTAND - AND LEVERAGE - THE EFFECT YOU HAVE ON PEOPLE? Maya Angelou said : I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Do you understand the effect you have on people and know how you make people feel? Knowing this and making it the focal point of your business is very important. We human beings are wired for connection. Understanding how you make people feel helps you to empower or inspire - not by pushing, but by simply being. Understanding that your vulnerability can change the atmosphere in a room will help you to stand out and strenghten your unique way of communicating.

3. ARE YOU COMPLETELY CLEAR ON YOUR 'WHY' AND YOUR VALUES? Knowing why You Do The Things You Do will give you direction and that super important energy that people react to.

Especially when your WHY is a Very Big Why. Do you want world peace? Do you want to make the world a better place? Write it down and let it guide you in everything you do. Make sure you also understand WHY you want world peace. The reason behind your WHY is equally important. Do you want to make a lot of money? Write down WHY you want that. Be as specific as possible. It will feed your resilience when the going gets tough! As a Multi-passionate entrepreneur, it's very easy to go from flower to flower like a happily drunk bee and totally forget where you are. Knowing your Big WHY will give you 'soul guidance'. Being very aware of your personal and business values is an indispensable way to stay in close connection with your clients (who share your values!) and your own personal brand. MY BIG WHY IS: MY 5 MOST IMPORTANT VALUES ARE: Choose 5 Core Valu s that are important to you and your busin ss Authenticity Achievement Adventure Authority Autonomy Balance Beauty Boldness Compassion Challenge Citizenship Community Competency Contribution Creativity Curiosity Determination Fairness Faith Fame Friendships Fun Growth Happiness Honesty Humor Influence Inner-Harmony Justice Kindness Knowledge Leadership Learning Love Loyalty Meaningful Work Openness Optimism Peace Pleasure Poise Popularity Recognition Religion Reputation Respect Responsibility Security Self-Respect Service Spirituality Stability Success Status Trustworthiness Wealth Wisdom - or add your own values to the list.

5 4. DO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOUR SOUL CLIENT IS AND WHAT SHE/HE NEEDS (THAT ONLY YOU CAN DO FOR HER/HIM)? Who is your soul client? That very special person - who represents all your clients - you're working with. Knowing who your soul client is will help you to go from: "I work for e-ve-ry-one-' and feeling out of breath trying to please everyone, to feeling empowered and in touch with your audience. If you don't know who you soul client is, this is what you do: Go and talk to as many people as possible! It took me a very long time to find you! Start today and let curiosity and a wide open mind be your guide. To give you an example: I only work with wonderfully weird entrepreneurs. Women who are fiercely bright, gloriously multi-passionate and happily sensitive. They are ambitious and long for depth and real connection. So that's who I focus on. When I write I write to you. When I create a program I create that program to fulfill the needs of my soul clients. Alignment with your soul clients is important offline and online. And just as important for artists, creators, consultants, designers etc. as for coaches. MY SOUL CLIENT IS: 1. Study the clients you already have. What do they have in common? Why do they work with you? Research their traits, what do they love, what do they read, are they foodies, into yoga? Keep a wide open mind and study them like Diane Fossey would have done! 2. Talk to them. Interview people who might be your soul client. Have meaningful conversation with them. Find out what they need. Listen without a preconceived intention. Dare to listen on a soul to soul level. 3. Trial and error. Don't wait for perfection. It took me a couple of years to get where I am now. Give yourself time. Start today.

6 5.DO YOU ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE NOT NORMAL AND DO YOU KNOW HOW TO LEVERAGE YOUR DIVINE GIFTS? If this is new to you - I'm sorry to be so bold - but you are NOT normal. You are not ordinary. You most likely don't fit in. In fact, you are extraordinary. You are most likely wonderfully weird. As a Wonderfully Weird entrepreneur, you see beauty where others see just a wall or another tree. You hear the music in the wind. You see possibilities where others see difficulties. You are that one in a million combination of a fiercely bright, sensitive, multi-passionate entrepreneur You need to Fully understand and align with the Unique Power of your Traits in order to make a real connection with your clients (and once you've done that your brand will become completely recognizable). Maybe you feel lost (a lot or a little) - out of flow - and wonder why the hell you can't be a little more like the other 85 % of humanity (aka the people who finished one study - instead of five - who have ONE simple business idea that works for them and they are okay with the repetition.) Let's be honest you often don't know what to say at a busy business meeting. Right? You find the majority of your fellow entrepreneur slightly shallow. (right? You're amongst peers here). You're ideas keep coming and your brain is on 24/7 speed warp (Why, are the others SO slow...!) You probably have been told off for being too shy, too all-overthe-place, too ms. Smarty-Pants. But I want you to know, that you are uniquely awesome. And that those amazing traits of you are Divine Gifts.You haven't received them as some kind of punishments. These are gifts for you to fully utilize in your brand, business and life! Use the Power of your Divine Gifts in your Brand! Are you sensitive? Don't hide it. Be fully sensitive. Are you multi-passionate and ashamed to tell that you are a lawyer with a passion for crochet? Share your passion! The image of your yellow writing pad and your newly crafted red scarve is infinetely more attractive than a standard lawyer image. You create an authentic brand by embracing the Real You!

And I thought people around me saw that too. A grey mouse with a lot of books lost in thoughts. Unable to keep my clothes clean or my hair neat. When we long to be a success as an entrepreneur, think we re invisible AND at the same time feel this deep urge to make a change we NEED to find out what sets us apart. Right? We need to know How the World Sees us. We need to communicate with the right people. When you stay invisible you don't achieve anything. I know! Being Wonderfully Weird is awesome, but there s a huge downside too. *1. You think you know nothing. Even though you studied Law, Architecture, took countless courses and read the entire library before you were 12 years old. You suffer from Impostor Syndrome. Big Time * 2. There is no box for you. You never fit in, we re always just so friggin different from the rest. * 3. You feel, see and hear everything. Overwhelm is a big thing. You need space, silence, beauty, art, music... * 4. Because you always feel different you think you look strange and invisible. You simply can t believe people see you as beautiful, smart, intelligent, successful. I HEAR YOU, SISTER! I felt box-less, unseen and clueless for years. But you know what? The world sees something completely different. They see your wisdom. They are fascinated by your quirky nature. They love how you don't fit any box. They wished they were more like you! YES. REALLY I feel incredibly shy, I'm Super Sensitive but I also make a lot of noise! Wonderfully Weird means you can be loud-mouthed AND sensitive, read Science books AND Fun Romance novels, love classical music AND Metallica. You don't need to fit any box. We simply have to be 100% yourself. You have unique traits that set you apart. Your Authentic Persona. Wouldn't it be great to find out How the world sees you? The best by-product? It will help you gain confidence. Big Time!
