The first perfect square less than 204 is 14. The first perfect square greater than 204 is Write an inequality and Take the square root of each number. So, 204 is between 14 and 15. In a right triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the lengths of the legs.
