We are also reaching out to request those of you who play in social games to please invite your friends to consider joining us at the Election Sectional for our Special 0-5 Game on Friday, May 4. Thursday, April 5th - Daytime Mentor/Mentee Game Saturday, April 14th - The party for Evita Rduch, Susan Fenton and Julie Halperin will be postponed until we move to our permanent location. Monday Evening, April 16 - Nighttime Mentor/Mentee Thursday, April 26th - Swiss Team 8 is Enough Thursday, May 3rd - Daytime Mentor/Mentee Game May 4th - 6th - CLUB CLOSED for Election Sectional June 1 & 2 - Worldwide Bridge Contest CLEAR LAKE BRIDGE CLUB The Clear Lake Bridge Club has regular bridge games every day. During the week there are beginner games on Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 am, and on Monday and Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Regular games are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 am, Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm, and on Thursday Afternoon at 2:00 pm. Weekend games are on Saturday at 1:00 pm, and there is a team game on Sunday at 1:00 pm. CYPRESS NORTHWEST DUPLICATE BRIDGE Weekley Community Center, 8440 Greenhouse Road Cypress, Texas The Cypress Northwest Duplicate Bridge Club was started to serve the community. The duplicate bridge club began in 2016 as a non-sanctioned club with about five tables.
4 We are now fully equipped with the latest bridge equipment, including the BridgeMate II system and an advanced timing system. It was inspired by two ladies who wanted to play party bridge and thus began their game in an old donated house in Katy with tables scattered throughout the rooms.

We welcome both experienced and novice players in a friendly "learn and have fun" environment. *Reservations are Required* As an Invitational Club, the game is open to all players over 55 years, are limited to 12 tables and tend to fill up quickly Weekly games are on Wednesdays at noon. This class is a review of modern bidding using contemporary notrump ranges. Players will use current techniques for counting points for opening the bidding and raising partner s suit. Using length and shortness in the modern way is reviewed. If you have taken the beginning classes but need a thorough review of all of that material in that fast paced class, this is the class for you! You will review requirements for overcalls, takeout doubles, and the advancers ranges. Fee: $80 (4-week course) Modern No Trump Workshop - Tuesdays May 1, 8, 15, 22 1:00-3:00pm This course is designed to provide practice on material covered in the Conventions Courses. The deals are designed to provide practice in Jacoby transfers, Stayman, and reaching slam after notrump bids, using Stayman, and Jacoby transfers. Fee: $80 (4-week course)

There are many conventional uses, but there are also many natural uses.
