Faculty member Mr Vineet Kumar Mishra of ME Department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the workshop.

4 Faculty Development Program through ICT on AutoCAD National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh organised a Faculty Development Program through ICT on AutoCAD from 14th - 18th March 2016 at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon.Twenty Faculty members from Department of Mechanical Engineering of DCE, Gurgaon attended the FDP. Each day of the program was scheduled with four sessions, based on different topics from Auto Cad. The sessions were taken by expert mentors who delivered the topics from grass root level to their implementation and research work. In addition, practical sessions made STC more powerful and effective. Faculty Development Program on Embedded C Programming of Microcontrollers National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh organised a Faculty Development Program through ICT on Embedded C Programming of Microcontrollers from 2nd - 6th May 2016 at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon. Faculty Members from Mechanical department attended the Faculty Development Program. National Institute for Technical Teacher s Training, Chandigarh always brings forward many opportunities for faculty to excel in their career and help them adapt to technological changes and adopt new methods for student s performance evaluation.
5 Short Term Course Short term Course on Climate Change, Disaster Management and Sustainable Development 11th to 15th January 2016 Conducted by NITTTR, Chandigarh Short term Course on Climate Change, Disaster Management and Sustainable Development A Short Term Course on Climate Change, Disaster Management and Sustainable Development was conducted by NITTTR Chandigarh during January 11th 2016 to January with an objective to highlight some of the major issues of climate change, natural disasters, techniques and strategies for sustainable development mitigating the disasters successfully. The workshop was organized at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon through ICT. The workshop was attended by the faculty members of ME department.

7 Launch of CII - India@75 National Volunteering Week The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports organized the Launch of CII - India@75 National Volunteering Week from 18th - 24th January, The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes. Faculty member Mr. Amit Bhatia of ME department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the event. Innovation Festival 2016 at National Science Center Realizing the importance of Innovation and the impact of experimentation and scientific method in shaping logical thinking among our community, the National Science Centre (NSC) organized Innovation Festival during 21st to 24th January It aimed to foster a passion and aptitude for science and technology and to provide a unique platform to Innovative and creative Innovators. Faculty Member Mr Shashikant Das (Assistant Professor, ME Department) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the Innovation Festival on 22nd January 2016.
8 FESTO - EXPOTAINER : AUTOMATION EXHIBITION An Automation Exhibition was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon on 1st March, The exhibition was conducted by FESTO, Bangalore. The objective of the exhibition was to apprise students about various Automation technologies and their applications in industry and to bring the latest technology in pneumatic, electronics and didactic, directly to the student s door - step. The FESTO Expotainer is a fully self-contained exhibition vehicle providing a display of the latest equipment in the field of automation technology utilizing pneumatics and electronics as well as incorporating the latest developments in didactic training aids. The exhibition was meant for students of Mechanical Engineering branch. Awareness Session on Eye Care Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized an awareness session on Eye Care for all the staff members on 16th April Dr. Vivek Garg, Ophthalmologist from Vasan Eye Care, Gurgaon conducted this awareness session. Dr. Vivek Garg explained about the significance of eyes and how our body does its best to shield our eyes from any external harm.
