Local people, struggling on a daily basis with their needs, understand those needs better than anyone else and can therefore suggest or in fact make the technological innovations necessary to meet those needs. 14 Chad in Africa Location: Mid-Southern part of Africa Economy: one of the least developed countries Almost no facility for production and distribution (mostly imports from Cameroon Lack of fruits after the mango season (March to June every year) No processed or preserved fruits in the markets of each city, but some products are being imported from Cameroon and sold at high prices.
