2 2018 Strategic Visin INTRODUCTION A strategic visin is a wrking dcument that helps an Executive Cmmittee t chart a curse fr the assciatin by identifying gals fr a certain time-perid and utlining hw the assciatin will achieve thse gals. The strategic visin was prmpted fllwing changes in assciatin management and leadership and crafted with careful deliberatin t be achievable and relevant t the grwth and breadth f the simulatin agenda and the cmmunity it serves. The new ASPiH Strategic visin targets the next 5-years; frm The fundamentals f the Sciety s strategic visin were shared during the presidential address at ASPiH 2017 Telfrd. Fr thse f yu interested in learning mre abut the elements f a Strategic visin fr nn-prfit assciatins, there are widely available resurces nline. ASPiH based its develpment and frmat n the umbrella strategy mdel. The ASPiH executive cmmittee cnvened fr fcussed discussin t frmulate a strategy and devise a plan t implement the strategy ver 3 t 5 years. The exercise was cnstructed arund identifying the verall gals and purpse f the rganisatin. They explred the underlying cre values, beliefs and purpse f ASPiH which frms the basis f the rganisatin's identity and sets the basic cnditin under which it perfrms. This led t the frmulatin f ur missin statement and visin fr ASPiH alngside the identificatin f ur gals and actin plans t achieve it.
