11 Student Technical Innovation Awards EDUCATION AND INNOVATION. THE INFLUENCE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES ON THE PARTNERSHIP UNIVERSITIES - COMPANIES CONCEPT The business platform offers the students and master s graduates of the partner universities the opportunity to materialize their ideas into innovation projects in areas such as: automation, electrical equipment, software and hardware for the targeted and interconnected industries, Internet of Things. The teams will be made up of students of the partner universities (bachelor and master degrees) plus one teacher. 13 Edition s Contest Innovation Treasure Hunt Innovation Treasure Hunt innovation contest, search for clues Prizes are given as discounts or free entries for the IEAS 2018 edition No power and no treasure can outweigh the extension of our knowledge. Democritus CONCEPT The contest of the edition will focus on innovation and aims to stimulate informal networking and to capitalize the creative factor in the community of energy and automation companies. MISSION AND VALUES Innovation Treasure Hunt aims to contribute to the development of new ideas and projects, by using knowledge and innovation to propose solutions to the contemporary cultural and technical challenges. The Contest is based on values such as Innovation, Creativity, Sustainable Development, Ecology, Social Responsibility. The contest will combine the emotions of the search-for-clues sessions with moments of creative brainstorming and team building. PRELIMINARY RULES Only exhibiting companies can register teams for the contest. Exhibiting companies can register their team since September 2017, including during the day(s) of the contest. The scoring system and the final rules of the contest will be available soon on the event website and on the pages of the partner companies. The jury will include representatives of the partner companies and media partners of the event.
