1 Creating with the Envelope Punch Board Designed By: Regina Andari April 2014 The Envelope Punch Board is no longer a new tool, but there are plenty of new ways to create with it. Learn to make a fun camera-shaped gift card holder, two treat holders one of which is shaped like a purse, a clasp envelope, a candy wrapper box, and a really easy card with a coordinating envelope. These are just a few of the fun things that can be created with the Envelope Punch Board! Camera Gift Card Holder Instructions Step 1 Fold the 9 x 3-1/4 Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper (DSP) in half. Line up the folded edge at the 2 mark on the Envelope Punch Board, and punch. Slide the paper over to the 3-1/2 measure, and punch again.

2 Step 1 Step 2 Use the Stampin Trimmer to trim the paper on either side of the tab that was created with the Envelope Punch Board. Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Use the Oval punch from Little Labels Punch Pack to create a view opening on the camera-shaped card. Step 3

Step 4 To create the pocket to hold a gift card, place the 4-3/8 x 2 piece of DSP on the Envelope Punch Board so that it lines up with the edge of

3 Step 4 To create the pocket to hold a gift card, place the 4-3/8 x 2 piece of DSP on the Envelope Punch Board so that it lines up with the edge of the punch, at the base of the pointer as shown in Step 4a, and punch. Slide the paper over to the 2-1/2 measure, and punch again. Trim the excess paper on the other end of the tab that you ve created. This is really easy to do since the left edge of the paper has a point that you can line up with the track on the Stampin Trimmer (Step 4c). Adhere the prepared tabbed pocket to a 2-3/4 x 4-3/8 piece of Basic Black card stock, making sure that you only place adhesive on the two short sides of the paper and along the bottom edge. Do NOT adhere this pocket layer or the remaining 2-3/4 x 4-3/8 Basic Black liner to the card yet set them aside for now. Step 4a Step 4b Step 4c Step 4d Step 5 On the back of the card, use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin Pierce Mat to make a hole. Lay a 4 piece of Silver 1/8 ribbon on the mat, and pierce a hole in it. Place the prongs of the 3/8 Glimmer Brad through the ribbon and then through the hole in the paper, and then flatten the prongs to secure the camera strap to the card.

Step 5 Step 6 Adhere the two 2-3/4 x 4-3/8 Basic Black panels to the inside of the card.

Adhere the die-cut label to the left panel, and place one Brights Candy Dot on each end of the label.

Use the 1-3/8 Circle punch to cut a circle from scrap Basic Black card stock, and use the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen to draw a reflection on the black circle.

4 Step 5 Step 6 Adhere the two 2-3/4 x 4-3/8 Basic Black panels to the inside of the card. Stamp Happy Birthday from the You re Amazing stamp set using Melon Mambo ink, and die-cut it with the Apothecary Accents Framelits die. Adhere the die-cut label to the left panel, and place one Brights Candy Dot on each end of the label. Step 6a Step 6b Step 7 To decorate the front of the card, use the 1-3/4 Circle punch to cut one circle from scrap Smoky Slate card stock. Use the 1-3/8 Circle punch to cut a circle from scrap Basic Black card stock, and use the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen to draw a reflection on the black circle. Use the 1/2" Circle punch to cut a circle from scrap Melon Mambo card stock, and place a Large Basic Rhinestone Jewel in the center of it for the camera flash. Use a Stamping Sponge to color the Wooden Elements Banner with Crushed Curry ink, and stamp oh snap! from the Hip Notes stamp set using Basic Black ink. Adhere the stamped wooden banner to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Step 5 Purse Treat Holder Instructions Step 1 Place the 8 x 8 piece of DSP on the Envelope Punch Board at the 1-1/2 measure.

Turn the paper a quarter turn, place it at the 2-1/2 measure, and punch and score.

Fold all scored lines so that you can see them well. Place the paper on the Envelope Punch Board, and line up the pointer with the previously scored line. Punch and score.

5 Step 5 Purse Treat Holder Instructions Step 1 Place the 8 x 8 piece of DSP on the Envelope Punch Board at the 1-1/2 measure. Punch and score as far as you can, being careful to not tear the bottom right corner that hangs over the edge of the board. Turn the paper a quarter turn, place it at the 2-1/2 measure, and punch and score. Turn the paper a quarter turn, punch and score at the 1-1/2 measure, and then turn the paper once again, and punch and score at the 2-1/2 measure. Fold all scored lines so that you can see them well. Place the paper on the Envelope Punch Board, and line up the pointer with the previously scored line. Punch and score. Repeat this process to complete the scoring and punching at each of the four corners. The Step 1b photo shows the back side of the paper (because it s easier to see), and your paper should have punched notches at each corner and a score line at the base of each triangle corner. Step 1a Step 1b Step 2 Fold and adhere the wide triangular sections to the outside of the purse; fold and adhere the small triangular sections to the inside of the purse.

Adhere a Brights Designer Button to the triangular flap on the front of the purse. Stamp Warmest Wishes on your birthday from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card stock using Bermuda Bay ink. Cut the stamped sentiment to size, and adhere it to the bottom front of the purse. The beauty of this purse is that it doesn t have to be destroyed to be opened, and it can be tied closed again and again. Step 5a Step 5c Domed Nugget Holder Instructions Step 1 Place the 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 DSP on the Envelope Punch Board at the 1-1/2 measure, and punch and score. Turn the paper a quarter turn, line up the previously scored line, and punch and score again. Repeat the process for the remaining two sides of the paper.

Step 4 Step 5 On a scrap of Whisper White card stock, stamp the celebrate image from the Starburst Sayings stamp set twice once with Melon Mambo ink and again with Basic Gray ink.

9 Step 4 Wrap a 12 piece of Whisper White 5/8 organza ribbon around the treat holder, and tie the ends in a bow. Thread a 4 piece of Whisper White Baker s twine through a Vintage Faceted Designer button, tie it in a bow, and then adhere it to the front of the treat holder with a Glue Dot. Step 4 Step 5 On a scrap of Whisper White card stock, stamp the celebrate image from the Starburst Sayings stamp set twice once with Melon Mambo ink and again with Basic Gray ink. Use the smallest Starburst Framelits die to cut the Basic Gray stamped image. Use Paper Snips to cut the celebrate banner from the Melon Mambo stamped image, and adhere it to the Basic Gray image. Adhere this die-cut piece to the top of the organza bow with Glue Dots. Clasp Envelope Instructions Step 5 Step 1 Place the 6 x 6 piece of DSP on the Envelope Punch Board at the 2-5/8 mark. Punch and score. Rotate the paper, and align the pointer on the board with the previously scored line. Repeat this process to complete punching and scoring each side of the paper.

Use the 1/2" Circle punch to cut two circles from scrap Basic Black card stock, pierce a hole in the center of the circles, and insert a 1/8 Mini Brad in the center of each circle. Step 4a Step 4b Step 5 Insert the brads with circles into the pierced holes in the DSP. Open the brad prongs to secure the circles in place, making sure that the prongs are parallel to the scored line so they won t interfere with the closing of the envelope. Fold the scored flaps and adhere them in place. That s the beauty of this design... that extra score on the small flap makes it possible to cover the brad prongs and make it possible for whatever you place in the envelope to easily slide in and out. Step 5a Step 5b Step 6 Wrap a 12 piece of Whisper White Baker s twine a couple of times around the first circle to secure it, and then wrap it around the second circle to close the envelope and secure the contents.

Step 6a Step 6b Step 7 To decorate the back of the envelope, prepare the following: ~ One punched circle from scrap Melon Mambo card stock using the 2-3/8 Scallop Circle punch (adhere a portion of

12 Step 6a Step 6b Step 7 To decorate the back of the envelope, prepare the following: ~ One punched circle from scrap Melon Mambo card stock using the 2-3/8 Scallop Circle punch (adhere a portion of the punched circle to the edge of the envelope, and use Paper Snips to trim off the excess); ~ One arrow from the Geometrical stamp set stamped with Basic Black ink onto Bermuda Bay card stock and cut out with Paper Snips; ~ One triangle image from the Geometrical stamp set stamped with Crushed Curry ink onto scrap Crushed Curry card stock, punched with the Triangle punch; ~ From scrap Whisper White card stock, use the Scallop Edge Border punch and then cut to approximately 2 ; ~ Five Rhinestone Basic Jewels Step 7a To decorate the front of the envelope, prepare the following: ~ One Tea Lace Paper Doily, folded in half, adhered to the left side of the envelope; ~ Two stamped triangle images using Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White card stock, and one stamped triangle image using Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry card stock; punch the three stamped triangles with the Triangle punch; ~ One heart from scrap Melon Mambo card stock using the Small Heart punch; ~ Five Rhinestone Basic Jewels ~ One Brights Designer button, threaded with approximately 4 of Whisper White Baker s twine, tied in a bow;

~ One love you so sentiment stamped with Basic Black ink onto Melon Mambo card stock and cut to size.

Continue the process of folding the next scored line and punching at 1-1/4 and 4-3/4 until all scored sections have been punched. Step 1a Step 1b

Step 2a Step 2b Step 3 Wrap the 1 x 8-1/4 DSP strip around the card to keep it closed, securing one end with adhesive. Be sure to wrap the band lightly so that it will be easy to slide on and off. Stamp oh, happy day from the Starburst Sayings stamp set using Crushed Curry ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock, and use the coordinating Starburst Framelits die to cut it. Adhere the die-cut image to the center of the band, making sure that adhesive doesn t get on the card. Decorate the stamped image with three Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Step 3 Envelope Instructions Step 1 Place the 6-7/8 x 6-7/8 DSP on the Envelope Punch Board, and punch and score at the 3-1/2 measure. On the remaining three sides of the paper, just line up the previously scored line with the pointer on the board to complete the necessary punching and scoring.
