1 Brand Standardization Manual This Document should be followed in all Circumstances when any Office of DESIGN4INDIA and NASSCOM or any other entity is using the Logo.
2 INTRODUCTION We are Design4India, a platform initiated by NASSCOM, to guide your startup through the various facets of Design and User Experience. We re a Design-centric organisation, launched at the NPC in Oct 2016, Bangalore. We aim to provide Startups with the knowledge of Design Thinking and realize the growing importance of good User Experience and integrate it into your Business. NAME OF ORGANIZATION Design4India India is at an interesting inflection point The Technology Industry is evolving rapidly with a growing Start-up and innovation ecosystem. The focus now is on Design. Design is no longer limited to visual aesthetics but goes beyond all the way to engineering the best experience for the user. COMPANY DESCRIPTION Brand Design4India aims to build connections, relationships and take forward the growing Startup and Innovation ecosystem of India. Resonating with the product and technology sector. 3 THE DESIGN4INDIA BRAND MARK DESIGNSPIRE The uncoiling of energy within a rapidly evolving nation, elevating it to a higher state of enlightenment and success, to attain success through design. Inspired by the Shankha (Conch shell), one of the most beautiful instances of design occurring in nature and an essential part of all Indian ceremonies. A logo that inspires and marks India as the hub of a higher form of design. 2 Design4India
4 LOGO CONSTRUCTION, CLEAR SPACE, USAGE AND COMPUTATION PRIMARY REQUIRED LOGO MINIMUM SIZE To ensure legibility, the Design 4 India logo must not be reproduced smaller than the size specified. PRINT DIGITAL 20mm 100px 6.5mm 35px MINIMUM CLEAR SPACE To protect the Design 4 India Logo s prominence on a communication piece, there is a defined minimum clear space. This area must remain free of other graphic elements, type, logos etc. The distance is shown for each of the logo variants to the right. The minimum clear space required on all sides of the Logo is. Whenever possible, it is a good idea to leave more clear space than the minimum required. 3 Design4India
5 INCORRECT USAGE Do not use a colours that do not sit next to each other in the colour wheel. To maintain consistency throughout our identity application it is essential that the Brand-mark is never altered in any way. Here are a few examples of what not to do. The same rules shown here, will apply to the alternative configurations of the Logo. It is essential that the Logo is always reproduced from the master artwork. 4 Design4India Do not change the stroke weight or change the key-line. Never use the Logotype without the Logo. Do not place a logo on the same gradient used within the logo Never apply any effects such as drop shadows or glows to the Logo. Never stretch or distort the Logo. Never use a different font for the Logotype, or attempt to recreate any part of the Logo. Do not outline. Do not add any other elements within the clear space defined. Do not change the proportion/ relationship between the logo and the logo type. Do not use brush strokes Or change the key-line. Never place the Logo on a very conflicting colour.
