6 Hardwood Bollards >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hardwood Bollards RPF Round Profile Flat Typically one third of bollard length is below ground Naturally tough hardwood bollards Woodscape bollards are available in both square and round sections with a choice of top profiles. All styles are available in nine thicknesses from mm in 25mm increments and standard lengths of 750, 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800mm. Virtually any size of bollard can be made to order. All bollard types can be supplied with a groove - semi-circular on round bollards, V -groove on square bollards. A 25mm reflective band in white, yellow or red can be applied into a flat bottomed groove and reflective discs are also available. Sockets are of 316 stainless steel with a hinged lid, which acts as a 'hasp & staple' to facilitate locking with a padlock or socket cover when the bollard is removed. 7

Manufactured in extremely durable hardwood, seats are supplied fully assembled with a choice of surface fixing or below ground fixing (200mm depth). Most timber seats are supplied in standard lengths of 2000 or 2500mm at a standard height and width of 400mm. Curved shaped seats are also available. Seats designed for building into walls can be supplied with or without backrests and include a curved version. A stainless steel trickstoppa can be factory or retro-fitted to seating and copings to deter skateboarders. 10 Picnic Sets >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Picnic Sets Stylish hardwood picnic sets All Woodscape picnic sets are extremely robust units manufactured in Naturally Very Durable Hardwood. Our heavy-duty picnic tables, built with 90mm thick tops and supported on 190mm square sections, can be supplied with rectangular or elliptical tops and are designed for below ground fixing. Rectangular tables come in two lengths to match up with either 1800mm or 2000mm standard Woodscape seats. A shorter, lighter specification rectangular table is also available. Ghosted areas showing sections underground. 10 The Ayrshire picnic bench incorporates table and seats into a single, attractively designed unit.the 830 x 1850mm table is flanked by two 410 x 1850mm seats.

12 Litter Bins >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Litter Bins Litter Bins Woodscape litter bins are built from Naturally Very Durable Hardwood and are offered in a choice of designs. Sturdy, square or round bins with fixed tops incorporate lockable front openings fitted with stainless steel hinges and internal fixings. The square version houses a 112 litre galvanised mild steel liner and the round bin takes a 90 litre liner. Open-topped planter style bins house an 85 litre lift-out galvanised steel liner and post-mounted steel bins have a capacity of 30 litres. Woodscape s robust LBV 115 slatted litter bin is supplied as a free-standing version or with 4 extended legs for below ground fixing and is supplied with a lift-out galvanised steel liner. The Excel litter bin combines hardwood with stainless steel, to add individual style to any setting. LBR 90 12

14 Planters & Pergolas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Planters & Pergolas Modular Hardwood Planter System Woodscape modular planter systems provide a means of building planters in a range of shapes and sizes that are quick and easy to peg together on-site. Square, rectangular, octagonal, hexagonal and triangular planters are manufactured in Naturally Very Durable Hardwood along with the stakes, pegs and matched-grain pellets. Each planter component measures 140mm deep x 65mm thick, therefore the height of the planter is determined by multiples of 140mm e.g. two deep is 280mm high and four deep is 560mm high etc. Finished planter lengths/widths are all plus 65mm, e.g. a P535 component will have a finished length of 600mm and a P835 component would finish at 900mm. Non-standard sizes are available on request. All planters can be supplied with an optional base, slatted seat top or linking seat. Additionally, Woodscape can offer traditional 'Versailles' style planters with hardwood frames and either hardwood boarded panels or natural slate panels. Slate panels are available in a range of types and offer a tough, durable and naturally colourful alternative. 14

The only limitation is the extent of your imagination. Supplied in kit form for on-site assembly, Woodscape pergolas come in a standard height of 3000mm and comprise nominal 100 x 100mm posts and 150 x 50mm beams and cross bearers. 15

16 Retaining Walls >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Retaining Walls Hardwood Retaining Wall System The attractive Woodscape Retaining Wall System provides a quick and effective way of building retaining walls up to 1800mm high, and sometimes higher. The system uses 140 x 65mm sections and corner components of 65 x 65mm, all in Naturally Very Durable Hardwood, providing great strength with an extremely long life expectancy. Standard retaining wall components comprise the following profiles. A Straight component Seven components make approximately one linear metre. Also suitable for constructing radii of 3000mm or greater. B 90 Corner component 65 x 65mm corner section grooved on two adjacent faces. Special angle corner components are also available. C 1000mm radius component 44 components make a full circle with a 2000mm outside diameter. D 500mm radius component 22 components make a full circle with a 1000mm outside diameter. E End component 140 x 65mm section grooved on one face only. Components are available in the following standard lengths: R600 (600mm) R1500 (1500mm) R2100 (2100mm) R900 (900mm) R1800 (1800mm) R2400 (2400mm) R1200 (1200mm) Other lengths are available upon request and special components can be manufactured to suit any radius. 16

17 >>> W AL LS R E T AIN IN G A section of retaining wall with coping Installation One third to a half of the component length should be set below ground level. A continuous trench should be formed to the required depth. Foundation requirements will vary according to soil type, the height to be retained and the loading anticipated. Fixing in concrete will often be necessary. Woodscape Design Woodscape retaining wall components are made to our copyright design. Each component is linked together by means of a loose tongue which is designed to be a push fit. The groove which takes the loose tongue stops 150mm from the top of each component, which allows stepping of up to 140mm without revealing the secret joint. Straight and curved seat top copings are also available. Light units can be incorporated into most retaining wall components. 17

18 Signs & Gates >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Signs & Gates Bold and Distinctive Signage Woodscape manufactures outdoor hardwood signs from a range of standard designs or can create bespoke items to suit individual requirements. Directional signs can include finger posts, bollards and other timber structures. Routed lettering, diagrams or logos can be infilled in a choice of colours. Other products include display cases, information boards and a variety of entrance or feature signs. Also offered are engraved brass, stainless steel or aluminium plaques and traffic signs which conform to British Standards. 18

19 >>> & SIG NS G A T ES Hardwood Gateposts and Gates Gateposts of any Woodscape bollard section and design are available. A range of gates, boom type or barred gates, can be supplied along with hardwood height restrictors. Gates are hung on exclusive Woodscape stainless steel gudgeons. 19

20 Timber Engineering >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Timber Engineering Bridges, Decks and Structures Woodscape bridges, boardwalks, decking and ramps are engineered and manufactured in Naturally Very Durable Hardwood to exacting standards. Most structures are supplied in kit form for on-site assembly. Footbridges, cycleways and light vehicular access bridges are produced with single spans up to16 metres; longer bridges are possible using multiple spans and supports. Deck boards are supplied in a grooved or planed profile as standard, typically measuring 28mm thick by145mm wide in random lengths. Other profiles and dimensions can be produced and carborundum inserts can also be added to boards to provide a slip-resistant surface. 20

Timbers in the Naturally Very Durable category have a life expectancy, without preservative treatment, of more than 100 years in UK ground contact for section sizes of 200mm upwards. 23 >>> H A R D W O O D S Appearance No preservative treatment is necessary although a pigmented stain may be applied at any time. If left in the natural state, the long life expectancy is not impaired and over a period of time the timbers will weather gracefully to a beautiful silver grey colour, alternatively they can be stained to maintain a fresh look. Used outdoors, the moisture content of timber will fluctuate. In dry weather, natural shrinkage occurs and surface cracks or crazing may appear. With wet weather, the condition is reversed and, over time, visible fluctuations will diminish. Resin or gum exudation may occasionally occur on the finished surface of timber, especially during periods of hot weather. The condition will generally diminish with the passage of time, or can easily be removed. Very occasionally, pinhole staining can appear, particularly when timber is freshly planed. This is not a defect, does not affect the strength of the timber and cannot be seen when timber is weathered. Delivery of Woodscape Products All standard products leave the workshop with a pre installation coating of Sadolin. Products will be delivered direct to the required location. For receiving items, off-loading facilities such as fork-lift should be arranged. Standard seating units weigh approximately 150kg. 23
