2 Our Pergolas & Garden Structures - Overview Bouchier Fencing was established nearly 50 years ago and was primarily involved with the supply and installation of fencing, before evolving into one of the leading suppliers of fencing and landscaping materials. In addition to our existing range of products and materials, we can now offer a various selection of standard sized Pergolas and Garden Structures. options are manufactured from kiln dried Pine, Planed All Round (smooth) finish and pressure treated with Wolman (BASF) CX-8 after machining by ourselves to ensure longevity. The hardwood option is green Oak, also with a Planed All Round finish. All structures are supplied in kit-form ready to be assembled on site, complete with fixings (Stainless Steel fixings for Oak materials). Pitched Roof Pergolas The more ornate style of roofed pergola provides a stylish garden feature to enhance your garden space, when fitted with the addition of a covered roof makes an ideal all-year-round BBQ or outdoor entertaining area. Available in both and Oak. The posts, ring beam and braces are all morticed and tenoned to allow easy and accurate assembly on site, reducing installation time. All of the angles on the roof members are pre-cut to size. If you are planning to enhance your pergola with a covered roof, we can supply battens, tilt fillets and Cedar shingle roof tiles. We also stock a range of cladding options if you wish to create a semi-enclosed space*. There are a selection of different shaped beam end options available, or we can supply a barge board. Hexagonal & Octagonal Pergolas A Hexagonal or the larger Octagonal Pergola provides an impressive central feature to the garden. Available in both and Oak. Each post is shaped to replicate the design of the structure, either with a Hexagonal or Octagonal cross-section. The ring beam sections are lapped together to create a rigid frame. All of the angles for the frame and roof are pre-cut to size. Roof shingles (in Cedar) are available to purchase separately if you are creating a sheltered garden area. We can also provide softwood or hardwood decking and framework to form a timber base*. Regular & Interlocking Pergolas We have available the options of the classic style of Regular Pergola design, or the fully Interlocking Pergola where the beams are all alternately half notched to fit together to create a very solid structure. The posts are notched to fit and locate the top beams. There are a selection of different shaped beam end options. to choose from. Available in both and Oak. Curved shaped corner braces are also available*. Arbour & Corner Pergola The arbour is ideal as a garden entrance way, or a dividing walkway between different areas. The posts and top beams are notched to fit the main two cross beams. Diamond trellis side panels can be included to create a traditional walk through feature. For our Corner Pergola, each post is specially notched to hold the top triangular frame. We can also provide materials to create a timber decking area with framework*. 12 Bespoke & Custom Projects In addition to our standard range of Pergolas, we also have the ability to design and produce bespoke and unique structures based on your requirements, as well as tailoring existing versions to different sizes and specifications. For example, these can range from small pitched roof arbours to large section pergolas, to oak porches and larger garden buildings and trusses. We can also offer alternative hardwood options where necessary. All supplied complete with installation drawings. If you wish to create a more enclosed space, we can provide various cladding options such as feather edge, waney edge, tongue and groove, and shiplap. For pitched roof pergolas, we can supply cedar shingles to create a natural complementary covering. We have collectively many years of experience of practical design and application of garden projects, combined with extensive manufacturing facilities at our site based in Woodcote. If you have existing design plans, or just a sketch or an idea of what you may need, we can work with you to produce an end product to suit your requirements. The expertise gained from our contracting years allows us to understand the exact requirements of our customers and provide accordingly. In addition to our existing range of products and materials, we can now offer a various selection of standard sized Pergolas and Garden Structures. In 2017 we invested in a Hundegger SC3 CNC machining centre, allowing us to now design and produce these products even more accurately. Once initial design is drawn on our CAD software and approved, the SC3 machine will use its versatile tool set to mill, cut and drill all the required components. We offer a wide range of additional fencing products, many of which are available from stock and with our extensive machining and manufacturing facilities we can also provide items to specific customer requirements.
