2 Our Story The inspiration for the ARLO brand came to fruition when we at Arlo Green Design saw the innovative and original designs coming from Irish designers. Most of these designers were not involved in the street furniture business but were able to turn their talents to most industrial design projects with an equal amount of flair. This first collection of urban elements features the work of Davin Larkin, a lecturer in furniture design at The Irish National Centre of Excellence for Furniture Design in Letterfrack in the West of Ireland. His proposals for this first volume of work show the scope of his design abilities and reflect the young and contemporary profile of the population of Ireland. We are pleased to launch our new range with Davin s work and look forward to working with him and other inspired Irish designers as our range expands.

3 Our Designer Davin Larkin Davin Larkin is a furniture and industrial designer based in Ireland s rugged County Galway. Originally from Dublin, he now lives in Oughterard, a small town that is known as the gateway to Connemara. A far cry from Dublin, he now dodges sheep on his daily commute to Ireland s National Centre of Excellence for Furniture Design and Wood Technology where Davin is a lecturer in Furniture Design and Manufacture at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Letterfrack. He refers to himself as a Deisgner, Educator, Thinker, Maker. Davin strives to create beautiful, useful, and long-lasting products such as his new range for ARLO.
