1 BESPOKE FURNITURE FOR BARS AND RESTAURANTS

2 For nearly thirty years we have been renowned for making furniture and fittings for bars, restaurants and hotels after working on some of the most highly visible and talked about restaurants of their day. Bibendum was our very first restaurant project and we are proud to say that the furniture we made is still there and looking as good as it did 30 years ago. We work on both large and small commissions from full restaurant fit-outs to single bar counters. We have workshops for cabinet making, veneering, spray shops, metal working and in-house upholstery and work with experienced bar systems contractors for the inner workings of the bars.

3 BENUGO We are used to working in heritage buildings where furniture needs to be designed and made for modern day use whilst harmonising with the historical setting it sits within. We have worked on many of Benugo s restaurants including the Natural History, Ashmolean and British museums.

4 ROCKSALT With workshops for cabinet making, veneering, metalworking & upholstery we can offer a one-stop shop from tables and waiter stations to bars and banquette seating.

5 BEAST The giant slabs of air-dried oak used here will continue to move and crack for up to five years as it dries out so we designed the tables and benches with joints that will move.

6 CARLUCCIO S We enjoy long term relationships with our clients. Since the very first restaurant in 1991, we have made bars and furniture for the many Carluccio s that have launched around the world.

7 LUTYENS We work with a wide range of materials. For this bar we combined polished pewter with bronze detailing, basalt stone and high gloss finishes for sophistication and drama.

8 BOND & BROOK, FENWICKS We modelled these curves on CAD and then built them up from multiple layers of ply using our 5-axis CNC machine before wrapping them in sheets of pewter.

9 BIBENDUM Our furniture is built to last. This was our very first restaurant project and it still looks good after thirty years.

10 HOI POLLOI, ACE HOTEL We worked with a lighting specialist to develop built-in custom lighting for the bespoke banquette seats.

11 ONE CANADA SQUARE Our metal workshop is one of the most specialist in the UK with traditional skills being passed from father to son to apprentice.

12 ALBION All the café and shop furniture was made in our workshops including some unique pieces such as the tractor stools made from replica Albion tractor seats.

13 THE ROYAL EXCHANGE Our selection of materials is exacting. Here we combined polished pewter with glass and back lit marble to create an atmosphere of unrivalled luxury.

14 THE BOTANIST All our pewter bars are expertly welded and then polished by hand for a seamless finish. We work with leading bar contractors for the inner workings of the bars.

15 THE AMERICAN BAR, CONNAUGHT HOTEL All the pieces here are made in the finest materials and showcase our craftsmanship and attention to detail from the bespoke nickel castors on the chairs to the polished nickel studding and leather stitching on the tables.

16 THE QUINCE TREE, HENLEY We have a wide knowledge of finishes and techniques. For the bar area we used classical references and finishes such as limed oak, walnut and traditional upholstery to bring a traditional pub feel.

17 ROSEWOOD HOTEL Heated slatted benches, love seats and dining chairs were commissioned for this luxury London hotel. Made in natural untreated oak, the pieces will weather and grow more characterful with age.

18 HOUSE OF ST BARNABUS An eclectic mix of fabrics, together with richness of materials and finishes including antiqued mirror, patinated brass, marble and intensely fumed oak, ensures there is harmony between contemporary and vintage pieces.

19 BUSABA Thoughtful detailing and material choices make all the difference. We crafted brass edges for the dining tables and wrapped tables with gilding metal to complement the mocha stained iroko of the table bases and spindle backed banquette seating.

20 ROYAL COURT THEATRE Using materials to work with existing elements and provide contrast to the concrete architecture, our bar and furniture was designed to be worn into and look even better in five years time.

21 MY HOTEL, BRIGHTON Large pewter columns frame this 11 metre brass bar which sits within a cave that is clad with layers of oak and faux suede.

22 KEATINGS, DUBLIN One of our largest restaurant commissions with bars, furniture and waiter stations on four levels including this 30 metre polished pewter bar.

23 EYNSHAM HALL We made this striking bar from copper pipes and then picked up the copper detailing on the edging of the marble tables. The button backed banquette seating adds a touch of tradition with a contemporary twist.

We have grown significantly since those early days but that original vision is still our driving force. We are now a team of 70 craftspeople in over 40,000 sq ft of workshops for timber milling, cabinet making, veneering, spray shops, metalworking, and in-house upholstery as well as design studio. Our love of making starts from the stewardship of trees, down to the hands-on-making by our highly skilled team. We believe firmly that the pleasure gained from using a piece is directly related to the care given by the hand of the maker.
