DRAW THREAD THROUGH THE THREAD GUDE. 2. HOLDNG THREAD TAUT WTH RGHT HAND, DRAW THREAD DOWN NTO THE TENSON AREA AND THEN ARROUND THE CHECK SPRNG HOLDER. 3. TOP TENSON SHOULD BE 65-95G WHEN PULLNG THE THREAD (A) N THE DRECTON OF "B". ADJUSTMENT:. REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL UNT. 2. TURN THE ADJUSTNG NUT (C) N THE DRECTON OF "D" WHEN THE TOP TENSON S TOO TGHT. TURN THE ADJUSTNG NUT (C) N THE DRECTON OF "E" WHEN THE TOP TENSON S TOO LOOSE. 3. THE DSTANCE BETWEEN THE PRESSER FOOT (D) AND THE NEEDLE PLATE (E) SHOULD BE 6.0 MM (0.24"). ADJUSTMENT:. REMOVE THE SCREW (B) AND TAKE THE LAMP SOCKET OFF. 2. RASE THE PRESSER FOOT LEVER AND LOOSEN THE SCREW (C) ON THE PRESSER BAR HOLDER. ADJUST THE DSTANCE BETWEEN THE PRESSER FOOT (D) AND THE NEEDLE PLATE (E) TO 6.0 MM (0.24"). 3. TGHTEN THE SCREW (C) SECURELY. 4. TGHTEN THE SCREW (B) TO SECURE THE LAMP SOCKET. NOTE: WHEN YOU TGHTEN THE SCREW (B), MAKE SURE THAT BOTH SDE OF THE PRESSER FOOT ARE PARALLEL TO THE FEED DOG SLOTS (F) ON THE NEEDLE PLATE. F D SCRE_ SZE TYPE B 4x6 +-Binding head

LOOSEN THE SCREWS (A) AND (B) ON THE WORM GEAR (C). 3. HOLD THE WORM GEAR (C) TO PREVENT TURNNG AND ADJUST THE WORM GEAR'S ANGLE BY TURNNG THE HAND WHEEL N ETHER DRECTON SO THAT THE NEELDE STARTS TS SDEWARD MOVEMENT AT 2.00 MM MM (0.08" ") ABOVE THE NEEDLE PLATE. 4. MOVE THE SHUTTLE RACE UNT AXALLY ETHER FORWARD OR BACKWARD TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TESTPN #68368 (A) AND THE SHUTTLE HOOK (B) AT MM TGHTEN ONE OF THE SET SCREWS (E) TEMPORARLY. 5. SET THE STTCH SELECTOR AT MAXMUM ZGZAG WDTH. TURN THE HAND WHEEL TO CHECK F THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TESTPN #68368 (A) AND NNER EDGES OF THE SHUTTLE RACE SPRNG (F) AT THE LEFT AND RGHT NEEDLE DROPS ARE EQUAL. F NOT, MAKE AND ADJUSTMENT BY TURNNG THE SHUTTLE RACE UNT. _. 6. TGHTEN THE TWO SHUTTLE RACE SET SCREWS (E). 7.
