4 SIRR 800 ISTTI ISTRUCTIS G 4 RCSS ISTTI 2 2 RRIG TH SCR CSSTT Insert -nd Cap with Spring into the correct end of the -Screen Cassette ssembly [ig 2] (the assembly will only fit correctly in one end). Make sure to line up the spring and bushing notches with one of the small slots in the center screen tube. Wind the spring clockwise the number of turns designated in the following chart and push the -nd Cap with Spring in place on the -Screen Cassette ssembly. rubber mallet is helpful to fully seat the -nd Cap with Spring. ote that the spring in the cassette is for tension only. You will need to raise and lower the screen by using the G-nd Cap Chain. IG WITH SRIG TSI SIT CRTRIG 2 Test Chain Guide for smooth operation. If it s too tight, loosen allen screw. Insert the G-nd Cap with Chain into -Screen Cassette ssembly and push into place. The G-nd Cap with Chain is setup for internal operation (operating from one side). If desired this can be disassembled and altered to allow for either internal or external operation [ig 2C]. 2C UTSI ITR R XTR RTI (TI ST-U RRM Y USR) ITR RTI (STR) SI VIW H 3 ISI I-Recess Mount Clip Slide one piece of the -Weatherstrip into bottom slot of -ull ar and the other piece into the top of -Screen Cassette ssembly. The -Weight ars are already inserted inside the hollow of the -ull ar. ow insert the -ull ar nd Caps into ends of -ull ar [ig 2]. MUTIG TH SCR CSSTT Mount the I-Recess Mount Clips to the inside of opening.when installed, the clips should be centered above the cassette. Install a - #8x1 (25mm) anhead Screw into the center of the slot to allow front to back adjustment [ig below]. Snap the -Screen Cassette ssembly into place. Secure the -Screen Cassette ssembly in place by screwing the -nd Cap and G-nd Cap to the side jamb of the opening. The I-Recess Mount Clips and -Screen Cassette ssembly may be reversed to face toward the inside or outside of an opening depending upon which side the ull Chain needs to be accessible. See image 2C for optional user performed ull Chain routing options. T: the I-Recess Mount Clips lower the -Screen Cassette ssembly in the opening by 1/4. The same 1/4 gap should be left above the & G-nd Caps to avoid bowing the cassette.

Slide both C-utside Rails onto the tabs protruding from the and G-Cassette nd Caps [ig 4]. ttach to jamb with - #8x1 (25mm) anhead Screws. ress -Inside Rails into C-utside Rails with the shorter pile to the inside [ig 4] until they are evenly seated [ig 4]. Using the height adjustment wheel on the -ull ar ock, adjust the height to the appropriate level so that it easily engages the -ull ar. TH SCR RIC GTS W UT TH SI TRCS n nti-wind rush ile is located inside the -Inside Rails. This nti-wind ile is designed so that Shorter ile the stiff bristles of the rush ile will engage inside the holes of the screen fabric as wind blows/ pushes on the fabric. Check that the aluminum walls of the -Inside Rails have not been bent outward during customer installation since this will prevent proper engagement. If needed take your thumb and forefinger and gently run them along the length of the -Inside Rails altering these back into a straight 90-degree position. This will reposition the nti-wind ile so that it can perform as intended. e sure that the -ull ar ock engages the -ull ar as shown in image [ig 4C]. Using the height adjustment wheel on the -ull ar ock, adjust the height to the appropriate level so that it easily engages the -ull ar. When correctly adjusted the latching and unlatching should be smooth and easy and the screen will stay latched until manually released. Check that the nti-wind rush ile has not been deformed or damaged and that it is still pointing in a 60 degree angle within the -Inside Rails. dd an additional -Weight ar (or other ballast material) inside the -ull ar. Windy conditions may affect the performance of a retractable screen. Retract the screen in windy circumstances, during inclement weather, when not needed to support immediate ventilation or during prolong periods when not used. TH SCR IS IICUT T U W R U Check that the screen has been installed in a square and plumb opening. djust the opening as needed. n nti-window rush ile is located just inside the -Inside Rails. Gently run your finger or another soft object down each side of the screen fabric in order to release the engagement of the nti-wind rush ile within the small openings in the Screen abric. ow retract the screen. Check and correct any interference (e.g. screws or debris) inside the -Inside Rails. Check that the -ull ar glides smoothly. Slightly trim the aluminum -U R if needed. Check to see if the -Weatherstrip is catching or binding in the -Inside Rails Remove the plastic Cassette nd Cap with Chain from the -Screen Cassette ssembly and verify that the bolt or allen screw is not fastened so tightly that it is restricting the operation. TH SCR S T RTRCT VY Check that the screen has been installed in a square and plumb opening. Correct the opening as needed. ull the screen all the way down to the bottom of the opening and then retract the screen. This will often help the screen fabric to realign. ull the screen all the way down to the bottom of the opening. ook to see if there are creases in the fabric or other signs indicating that the screen fabric may have rolled over itself inside the -Screen Cassette ssembly. If needed remove the -Screen Cassette ssembly from the opening, extend (unroll) all of the screen fabric and on the -Screen Cassette ssembly and then retract the fabric making sure to remove any wrinkles or creases. TI-WI RUSH I MVS I TH SI GUI RIS The nti-wind rush ile that is located inside the aluminum -Inside Rails need to be crimped securely in place so that it does not move within the channels of the -Inside Rails (see step 4). The -U R CS T CTCH TH -U R djust the height of the latch on the -ull ar ocks using the wheel style finger adjustment. The engagement of the -ull ar ocks to the -ull ar should match image 4C.
