11 Study Bedrooms - Alternative finishes Design Interform offer a free design and planning service and can manufacture furniture in a range of finishes to give the client a unique, customised product look. Colour By choosing different melamine, gloss and laminate finishes, a stylish and contemporary environment can be created to enhance both modern and traditional bedrooms. 14 Choose your board... Veneered Plywood Interform s Premium Hardwood Finish A real wood veneer on an 18mm European birch plywood core with 2mm hardwood lippings to leading edges. Recommended for the toughest environments requiring maximum strength and longevity, backed up by our 10 year guarantee. Plywood is manufactured using a number of layers (Interform use birch hardwood) glued together with their grains at right angles for extra strength. It is renowned for its high degree of strength and durability. Veneered MDF Interform s High Pressure Particle Board Finish A real wood veneer on an 18mm Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) core with 2mm hardwood lippings to leading edges. Recommended for all high maintenance contract establishments, this tough and durable finish is backed by a 7 year guarantee. MDF is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres which are combined with wax and a resin binder to form panels. It is heavier and more dense than plywood. Melamine MDF Interform s Alternative High Pressure Particle Board Finish A contract melamine foil on an 18mm MDF core with 2mm heavy duty PVC lippings to leading edges. Recommended for all contract environments when coupled with Interform s standard hard-wearing construction methods and quality fixings.
