16 INDI STRUCT Bedroom The INDI STRUCT Bedroom Range meets the demands of most challenging environments while its design and finish helps to allow you to create the homely feel that is so important for a residents care and rehabilitation. A wide variety of unit options will allow you to maximise storage facilities without overcrowding the room. There are 3 different hinge options available on the wardrobes depending upon your requirements these include standard 270 degree hinges, piano/strip hinges and our extremely heavy duty INDI270 hinges which are a strip hinge that allows the doors to open 270 degrees. All of the units have scooped out handles as standard and wherever possible all corners and edges have been rounded and smoothed off to reduce obvious risks of injury. All of the units have 18mm thick solid backs allowing them to be wall secured very easily without the need for extra brackets or ties. To help to reduce climbing there is the option of sloping top sections that can easily be retro fitted to wardrobes even after it has been installed and wall fixed.

These hinges have all of the advantages of a standard strip hinges but these allow the doors to be opened back 270 degrees and fold flat against the wardrobe sides. This greatly increases the resistance to abuse. The hinge is fixed to the door using anti tamper screws which are fastened into the edge and faced of the door as well as the edge and face of the wardrobe end. The anti ligature wardrobes are designed to minimise obvious ligature risks while maintaining the simple smooth design.
