4 Create Office Platform The Create Office Platform is a dynamically elegant single source platform on which four distinctive office design applications are built. Apps that are fundamental to the way efficient and intelligent offices now work. Apps that provide creative design freedom with an impressively striking range of componenets; including desk top, storage and panel options. Creating work environments perfectly tailored to individual tasks. Designer Jean Bourassa has created this extensive new collection that blends broad functional performance with balanced proportions and refined detail. He has achieved this through integration and layering. From the baseline of a single platform components are added to shape the environment spanning the classic private office layout to the fashionable open landscape. From the executive suite to collective work areas, Create is a new way forward in integrated office design. Page 4

5 R.E.D. Rapid Easy Design Rapid Easy Design is a plugin for Google SketchUp which is designed to assist with the specification of Create Platform products. One of Three H s unique attributes is that many of its products can be sized to the inch. Rather than limiting a designer to typical 6" increments, Three H products can be sized to make maximum use of available space. This can translate into increased storage or workspace in a small footprint, or to more workstations in an open plan configuration. Because of this capability, traditional library based design systems do not work for Three H. Libraries would need to be so large that they would be cumbersome to work with and costly to create and maintain. There is no library with RED. Rather, RED uses a series of programs, each of which model an individual product family. By selecting the attributes of the product you wish to create, one program can generate hundreds of thousands of individual products. Product changes are simple, click on the product, change its parameters and the new item is created. In addition to this unique capability, RED also provides assistants which automatically align and position products in most common configurations. In many cases only the first item is positioned on the drawing. After that, the assistants take over to simplify the completion of the design. Once the design has been completed, a Bill of Materials is automatically generated for you. If your computer is connected to the internet, pricing is determined directly from the Three H database. Prices are always correct, there is no database to maintain or update on your computer. RED utilizes the Standard version of Google SketchUp which is free. There is also no charge for RED nor are there any licensing or maintenance fees. Finally, RED works on both PC/Windows and Mac/OSX based systems giving you the flexibility to work in whichever environment you choose. 6 Create Office Platform General Furniture Specifications Create office platform casegoods and worksurfaces are constructed of thermofused melamine laminated on an industry standard particleboard core. All laminate material is finished with a decorative face on both sides and is available in over 30 woodgrain, solid and composite colors. Worksurfaces and tops are 1" thick., available with a 1mm or 3mm PVC edge, 1mm PVC knife edge profile or 3mm solid wood edge, finished to match or complement the selected laminate finish. Cabinets are constructed of 5/8" thick board and finished with 1mm PVC edge. Hutch construction is a combination of 1" and 5/8" laminate. Storage unit shelves are 1" thick. MultiStations OS laminate panel tiles are 1" thick. Box drawers, file drawers and lateral file drawers all utilize 18" full extension slides. All extruded componets are available in a clear anodized finish.
