This main frame adds a whole new dimension to your 300X. Lightweight, extra rigidity for an insane and crispy fly performance. Lynx 300X Ultra Main frame is a result of long 3D fly experience and prolonged test. Every detail and compatibility was strictly checked. Clean and advanced frame industrial design. Lynx 300X Ultra Main Frame come partially pre assembly and an easy to read step by step user manual for your assembly enjoyment and support. Items required to complete assembly from your donor 300X: Standard complete tail boom assembly including tail rotor Standard Main Shaft and Head assembly Standard Main Gear Hub and tail belt assembly Standard ESC or updated version Lynx suggest 40A with switching BEC Standard Motor or updated version 22 mm Max Stator Diameter class. FBL unit 3 x Standard Cyclic Servos or updated version. 1 x Standard Tail servo Tools required for assembly: Allen drivers 1.5mm Philip Cross Tip Screw Driver n. 00 Thread lock medium Final servo and radio setup: We recommend you complete the setup of your FBL unit again from scratch, including leveling all servo arms, setting zero degrees pitch, and all FBL travel adjustments, etc. For our experience and test Good luck flying the new 300X with Lynx high performance upgrades system! 5 Assembly step 1 ASSEMBLY VIEW: 5 x M2 x 4 countersunk screw loctite 243 (fully tighten) all countersunk screws must be flush with C.F. plate frame spacer lower electronics tray front boom mount assembly electronics tray assembly upper clectronics tray 1 x M2 countersunk screw loctite 243 (fully tighten) canopy post x 2 battery tray after assembly the two line must be parallel countersunk screw must be flush boom clamps frame cross member after assembly the two line must be parallel after assembly the two line must be parallel 2 x M2 x 4 countersunk screw loctite 243 (fully tighten) all countersunk screws must be flush with C.F. plate canopy mount break away canopy mount batterry mounting plate insert tool 1.5 to hold during assembly M2 x 4 hex cap screw loctite 243 (fully tighten) 2 x frame spacers after assembly the two line must be parallel x 2 page 5

9 Assembly step 5 note A: motor mount screws use loctite 243, but don't fully tighten until the gear mesh is adjusted in a later step note B: bearing block screws use loctite 243, but don't fully tighten until both frames are together and the the main shaft is in position stiffernner left frame side 2 x C washer 2 x M2 x 6 hex cap screw see note A 6 x M2 x 5 hex cap screw main shaft bearing block assembly see note B 7 x M2 x 5 hex cap screw add loctite 243 (fully tighten) page 9

10 Assembly step 6 ASSEMBLY VIEW: Main Frame and Bearing Block alignement insert main shaft with the assembly on a flat surface, push down on both frames together and then fully tighten all M2x5 hex cap screws (x12) holding the bearing blocks anti-rotation guide main shaft 2 x M2 x 4 countersunk screw loctite 243 ( fully tighten ) M2 x 5 hex cap screw loctite 243 ( fully tighten ) 2 x canopy posts main frame flat surface M2 x 5 hex cap screw loctite 243 (fully tighten) Install landing gear here (use 243 loctite and fully tighten these screws) carbon fiber bottom plate 4 x M2 x 6 hex cap screw loctite 243 (install landing gear and lock tighten) page 10

11 Assembly step 7 Motor and Pinion install Tail boom support installation Motor wires by-pass Use these 2 screw to lock and release tail boom clamp. Add Loctite 243 Install landing gear here (use 243 loctite and fully tighten these screws) Install tail boom support as showen (use 243 loctite and fully tighten these screws) Motor and Pinion installation 3 x M3 x 8 bottom hex cap screw (use a small amount of loctite 243, and tighten fully) x M3 x 4 set screw (use loctite 243 and fully tighten) adjust the pinion position as shown page 11

12 Assembly step 8 3 x Standard Mini Servo Lynx suggest: Digital Mini Servo any brand Speed 0.10 or faster Servo Installation Electronics installation Lynx suggested linkage ball position Battery Battery velcro Flybarless System (position # 2) x M2x5 hex cap screw (use loctite 243. Be careful not to over tighten these screws and damage the servos 6 x Washer M2 3 x servo linkage rod ESC (Position #1) ESC (Position #2) Flybarless system (Position #1) NOTE: Wires point forward Canopy Installation servo wires by-pass STD 300X Canopy Bottom View For a perfect canopy fit, trim off the canopy lip as shown Insert the bottom of the canopy into this recess page 12
