2 This Height Adjustable Frame can be used in two configurations Floor (perfect for room that may contain Asbestos) or as a mobile Trolley. At any stage the unit can be retro-fitted to meet your ever changing teaching requirements. The product has been designed as a generic product and some of the fasteners, holes and procedures may not apply to your products individual needs. Mounting some of the items to this product will require you to consult the manufactures Do so accordingly! During the build up of the unit there are a number of areas that lifting of parts etc can have adverse affects on personnel and parts if guidelines are not strictly adhered to. Please read the Notes- carefully prior to completing each step. During the engineering of this product ease of construction was our highest priority. One of the steps taken was to use Cup Head Bolts. Referred to as CHB and Button Head Cap Screws. Refered to as BHCS The use of this fastening system enables construction with limited and basic hand tools. Read each step thoroughly prior to starting that step. If you have any questions relating to the build up of this product please contact your IT re-seller for guidance. Abbreviations: CHB - Cup Head Bolt/s Parts Identification- All parts will be assigned a three digit number for ease of identification. Ensure shipping box has arrived in serviceable condition. Open box and remove all parts. Lay out for ease of identification. The break down of the bolt pack contents is on the last page. 3 As advertised this product can be used as a Mobile Trolley or Permanently Mounted to the Floor. During the Construction of this product some of the main castor bracketry becomes redundant when this system is used as a Floor mount. Please read each step carefully prior to construction of that step this will avoid rework of the main frame parts. Step1: Trolley Customers Start here. Remove the castors from the forks. Align the Lockable castors with the shorter hole spacing s as indicated by the arrow. Using 12x 30mm bolts and Nylock nuts secure the castors to part 834. Ensure they are not over tighten and still freely spin. Push the plastic end caps into the ends of the RHS. Replace the castors into the forks. Note: the Key Way in the castor fork Step 2: Floor Mount Customers start here. (leave all nuts finger tight at this stage) Orientate parts 826 and 827 so the square cut outs in parts 832 face each other then using 8x65mm CHB s and nylock nuts secure the parts together as shown.

4 Step 3: Fit both the main uprights into part 829 and using 8x 65mm CHB s Step 4: Floor Mount customers do not complete this step. Using 10x65mm CHB s secure the castor legs to the main frame Note: The lockable castors face the rear of the trolley and are only to be used for transportation and not for classroom use. Secure all nuts at this stage. Using a minimum of two people stand the main frame up onto the castors or base Step 5: Both sliders are built the same there is no Left or Right. Using 6x12mm BHCS and nylock nuts orientate parts 848 and 840 so the Key Way is facing each other. Then place 6 BHCS into the holes indicated below

5 Key Way Looking from the rear R/H Key Way Frame Rear L/H Key Way Orientate the completed sliders so the Key Way is facing the rear and the Key Way should be at the top for the Right Hand side of the trolley as shown.

6 Step 6: Using 8x 20mm CHB s and nylock nuts secure parts 822 to the sliders. The bottom 822 goes to the front and the top 822 goes to the rear as shown. Top 822 Bottom 822 Step 7: If external speakers have been purchased using 6x 20mm blots 6mm washers and nylock nuts bolt the speaker brackets part 849 to the sliders as shown. Please refer to the speaker manufactures mounting instructions for mounting. Step 8: Using 8x 65mm CHB s and nylock nuts secure part 820 to the top of the main uprights the round holes are to face the rear of the frame.

7 Step 9: Both bolts go from front to rear. Secure the top of the actuator to part 822 using an 8x50mm bolt 8mm washers and nylock nuts. Secure the bottom of the actuator to part 829 using an 8x 60mm bolt 8mm washers and a nylock nut. Note: Do not over tighten these bolts. The electric motor should be facing the rear. Step 10: Orientate the RF box (It will have a thin coloured aerial attached) and the 240v power supply as shown Note: Step 10 the legacy RF box has been incorporated into the AC adaptor. Plug directly from the actuator motor into the AC adaptor then go to Step 11. Using part 850 secure the electrical parts to the slide by locating part 850 into the Key Way then bolt into place using a 6x 12mm BHCS and nylock nut. Plug the wires in as shown. + Step 11: Using a screwdriver remove the small screw from the rear of the remote control. Insert the battery as shown.

8 Note: Some of these panels can weigh in excess of 50kg s. From Step 11: a minimum of three people should be used to remove the panel from its shipping box and mount the panel to the frame. During construction we engineered in the flexibility to mount the panel higher or lower depending on each customers circumstance. There is 400mm of height adjustment within the visa mount, this can be used to mount the panel lower in junior school environments and higher in corporate facilities. By measuring the top of the panel and transferring these measurements over to the trolley you can get a sense of the overall height the panel will be once mounted. The top two holes in parts 824 & 825 are for use in the floor mounting mode only. The top holes gain extra height when the height of the castors and castor legs are lost. Step 12: Remove the Panel from it s shipping box and with the foam blocks lay it face fires onto the ground. Place parts 824 & 825 over to top of the panels visa mounting points (refer to the manufactures instruction guide for this step). Our 8x20mm bolts and 8mm washers are supplied for panel mounting. If the panel requires different bolts source locally. Measure the distance between the square cut outs in parts 824 & 825. Transfer this measurement across to parts 822 to ensure that it will mount. Adjust parts 824 & 825 to the L/H or R/H as required. Secure parts 824 & 825 once this has been completed. Note: The top two holes as indicated are only to be used for floor mounting. Using these holes in trolley mode will void the warranty

9 Using 8x 20mm CHB s 8mm washers and nylock nuts secure parts 824 & 825 and the panel to the main frame. The Panel should sit level when lined up evenly between the slots but this may need to be adjusted the level up the panel in some circumstances. Note: Prior to deployment raise and lower the panel to it s full limits while ensuring there is nothing the parts or panel will foul on.

10 Transportation Prior to any movement of the trolley the panel is to be lowered completely. This will give the best center of gravity. Always use an appropriate number of personnel to transport the unit from space to space. This will vary depending on the terrain. Lowered Raised
