5 Versatile, quick, individual The reknowned high quality of EGGER s wood-based materials is enhanced through using state-ofthe-art prefabricated component production lines and processing centres. We produce high quality Prefabricated Furniture Components by employing a variety of processing options such as milling, grooving, rebating, edging and drilling. PROCESSING OPTIONS: MILLING, GROOVING AND REBATING Dimensional accuracy and quality the transformation into prefabricated furniture piece parts begins with the sizing operation where they are sized to the exact dimensions of the finished component, irrespective of shape. Groove for furniture backs The piece parts can then be grooved or rebated to accommodate specific assembly requirements or recesses for tambour doors for example and other additional technical profiles. 6 PROCESSING OPTIONS: EDGING The choice of edge lipping material for application to the visible milled Melamine edging raw edges of a component is almost unlimited and includes the latest decor trends. Materials such as ABS, PVC, PP and melamine can be used in widths as required. Dependent upon quality as well as assembly requirements, we use edge banding thicknesses from 0.3 mm up to 3 mm We can edge straight edges as well as edge all round in one continuous PVC edging process. For example, shaped (free form) components can be edged individually with the most diverse edging materials and types. Depending on the type of edge lipping applied, they are finished with a champfered or radiused edge. These various options provide huge scope for design. 7 PROCESSING OPTIONS: DRILLING, DOWELLING The complete and individual processing of ready to assemble components Surface drillings, Dowelling drill holes in front edge, including dowels includes both drilling and dowelling. There is almost no restriction for the implementation of bespoke customer requirements! Line drill holes and drill holes for fittings or assembly are applied with or without dowels in the popular proven 32 mm grid pattern. We also produce rows of drill holes spaced in 25 mm intervals. Line drillings Needless to say, we can also offer individual drillings at different intervals.
