1 INTRO CUTSCENE: Camera zooms in from outside a home into a living room. Cheery music plays as is the sound of crashing and arguing crescendos above it. Downstairs, CHASE, a ghost floating on a couch while trying to watch the Addam's Family, covers his ears from a commotion coming from upstairs. (to himself) I've had enough of this. Charlie ascends to the upstairs through the ceiling. He appears through the floor and floats above (avatar) and (avatar). Neither of them take notice that there is a ghost in the room. and stand in front of a TV with Minecraft on the screen. There is a broken dragon statue in the game. (yelling) Why would you grief me? This is supposed to be a game where we work together! (yelling) No way. You can totally beat it on your own. It s just Minecraft! (to and ) Enough! Of all the houses I could use to watch TV, I choose the one with the loudest kids on the day of my headache. (to ) You're a ghost, right? Ghosts can't have headaches. You're dead. (to ) Yes, they can! (to ) No, they can't!

2 Page 1 (annoyed) Okay, I'm done with this. You two are going to learn to work together even if it kills me. swings open the closet in the room and multiple items get sucked inside like a vacuum. Multiple lights also appear from the closet. grabs and by their shirts and throws them into the closet, which shuts behind them. The screen goes black. A new scene focuses on the side of and as they pick themselves up from red dirt and look around. Multiple giant monsters stomp and roar in the background. Behind the two is a portal with hovering in front of it with little faceless messengers just above the dirt. (quietly) Where are we? crosses his arms as he hovers above the two boys. You are in a different dimension.. Is that like the one in Minecraft? He s dead, genius. He probably has no idea what that game is. (yelling) Silence! Both boys stop talking at the same time and give their full attention. As monologues about what the Nether is, we see a dead tree with pulses of red light eminating from it. The sky is red and the ground is red sand. We see another shot of multiple monsters walking around the red sand. A longneck dinosaur with tentacles protruding from its neck walks with its head held high. This dimension is filled with horrible creatures and landscapes. I ve sent you here because you two need to learn cooperation and how you two can make up for each

3 Page 2 other s flaws. If you can make it through the Nether and find me, you will have proven your ability to put aside your differences and I will allow you to leave. This seems like a really bad way to teach a lesson. floats to the sky and fades away. I wish you the best. Exit intro cutscene. Enter nether entrance gameplay.

4 Page 3 WHO'S YOGG'ZOTH CUTSCENE Camera faces the front of and running in terror from a huge screaming Rangore, a pterodactyl-like creature. looks to his right and notices a cave with a pitch-black opening. (to ) There! Come on! grabs by the shirt and forces him to run to the dark cave. Upon entering the barely lit cave, and look back to see the Rangore come to a halt and roar at them before flying away, seemingly terrified. and lean over, trying to catch their breath. starts chuckling. (out of breath) Even monsters from other dimensions have their own fears too, huh? picks himself up and starts heading deeper into the cave without. You coming or what? No way. I've been fine with venturing through the unknown, but in the dark? No way. Suit yourself. Stay here by yourself then. Just as moves further into the dark, the cave illuminates itself with torches hung all along the cave walls. Engraved into the cave are markings similar to that of Lascaux paintings. & (at the same time) What the hell? rushes to gaze blankly at the series of drawings on the walls. We follow and what he sees on the walls. The first set of markings make out to be a bunch of monstrous creatures similar to that of the age of dinosaurs.

5 Page 4 (to himself) These look a lot like dinosaurs. So? continues down the series of markings. The monsters appear to cower more and become disfigured with tentacles protruding from their bodies. They become almost Lovecraftian. Finally, comes across a marking that freezes him. He puts his hands to his mouth in terror. All of the creatures depicted in each engraving are now bowing to a jellyfish-like creature that completely towers over them. It stands completely upright with only an eye-ball at its head and a giant maw of teeth below the eye. Two of its tentacles are feeding a Rangore into its open mouth. Yogg'Zoth. Isn't that the god of this realm that was telling me about? I think so, but that's beside the point. I think this realm used to be where the dinosaurs went after the meteor supposedly took them all out. So, this giant jellyfish just showed up and took over the whole place? Not quite. He brought corruption with him that infested all of these monsters. But where did it come from? I'm not sure, but wherever it came from, that place must be full of madness. steps back from the cave markings and takes a deep breath. He looks back to. Ready to find our way out of here? Exit Who's Yogg'Zoth cutscene.

7 Page 6 FINAL BOSS CUTSCENE and reach a bright portal like the one was near at the beginning of the game. They both look to each other with a smile and nod. takes off to go through the portal before and is shot back by an electrical pulse. floats through the portal with his arms crossed and laughing. picks himself back up., are you okay? You ve come a long way and somehow you survived. I hope that you ve at least learned to put aside your differences and work off each other s flaws. Yeah, yeah. Power of friendship and all that. If that s the case, then I have one final set of challenges before you go home. Challenges set in motion by the god of this dimension, Yogg Zoth. The red cloudy sky flashes white as Yogg Zoth descends from the clouds. Electrical pulses surround his tentacles. The eye fixates on the two boys as they stare in awe. Yogg Zoth finishes his descent by hovering in front of the portal. Yogg Zoth has watched you through your adventure from the very beginning. Any cooperation you refused to learn, due to pride, will be presented to you in multiple challenges. Failure will result in imprisonment in the Nether, for the rest of eternity. Yogg Zoth lifts 3 of his tentacles and lightning bolts shoot the floor in between him and the brothers. Platforms begin to form from the lightning bolts.
