MONTAGE SEQUENCE.DAY a young 10 year old girl, Ash Brown hair, Hazel eyes. Wearing 3-Quarter length Black Jeans, Red and White Polka Dot t-shirt and Black ankle boots containing a polka red and white dot logo. Penelope is seated at a Dark Brown Wooden Dining Table, Eating a Cheese Sandwich. /TEDDY a foot tall, Light brown fluffy Teddy Bear with Coal Black Eyes, Light Blue Nose and a Neatly Stitched Mouth. Theo/Teddy was slumped against the wall in the opposite corner of the room. Theo starts to glow an Orangy/Yellow colour. (Penelope Looks towards Theo/Teddy.) The background fades away as they both float upwards and towards each other. The background is now multicoloured and glistening. Penelope and Theo continue to float towards each other, as they reach the centre, Penelope reaches out and touch Theo/Teddys paw. They float backwards stopping in midair, slightly apart from one another, there is a wirl of power and there appearances change. Penelope her clothing alters, changing to Black Leather shorts, Knee length boots still containing the red and white polka dot logo, Red and White Polka Dot Vest and a Black and Red Knee Length Cloak. Theo doubles in size, his eyes widen and add a hint of brown, his nose starts to glow, his mouth stitching separates. (Theo flexes his Limbs and rotates his jaw) They both now float down towards the ground as they do so the background fades out and reveals the fantasy land of LUX. (Penelope and Theo look towards each other Determined) EXT.LUX SILVAM.DAY Penelope stood, mud and grass shifting under her feet, Theo floating close by. A light breeze flowing through them.
POV SHOT: SCANNING THE FOREST FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. A SERENE SKY BLUE LAKE GLISTENING IN THE LIGHT, STREAMS OF WATER FLOWING OFF IN SEPARATE DIRECTIONS FLOWING THROUGH THE FOREST. AN ARRAY OF TREES TOWERING HIGH ABOVE, NO SKY TO BE SEEN JUST GLOWING LIGHT FROM THE SMALL BRANCHES. THE TREES FILLED WITH LOCALS IN THEIR HOMEMADE HUTS RANGING IN SIZE AND SHAPE ATTACHED AT DIFFERENT ANGLES AND HEIGHTS. BUSHES REGROWING FRESH FRUIT. REACHING THE FAR RIGHT WHERE THERE IS A CLEARING, THE LARGEST TREE LIVES HERE THE MAIN LIGHTING HUB, HOWEVER IT WAS FLICKERING LIGHT AND DARK. THE SHOT STOPS FOCUSING IN ON THE CLEARING, THE FLICKERING STOPS PLUNGING THE CLEARING INTO DARKNESS. 2. (Concerned expression, head off in the direction of the darkness) Come on! Lets Go! (Activates headband, starts to fly) (Determined look, Nods) (Actives his shield, floats after Penelope at speed) EXT.LUX SILVAM CLEARING.DAY Trees still tower high here, the distance you could see was not much, the whole place was dense black, just about able to make out the closest tree outlines. (Penelope and Theo arrive in the clearing, Penelope lands on the forest floor with Theo floating at head height) (Places his paw on the side of his head, closes his eyes) His light blue nose glow expands, becoming their light source for the clearing, expanding their fields of vision. There we are, Much better! (Eyes shifting from left to right, Concerned) Right, What's this about then?
3. A TENEBRIS (DARK FORCE) flies at speed from the left of Penelope, a grey/blue/black sand cloud, shifting and glistening. (Penelope spins on the spot, fires magic from her hands at the Tenebris, then rolls forward) (Theo spins round, keeping to the border, shifting his gaze left and right) (ANOTHER TENEBRIS, drops in from above changing from its cloud state to its humanoid shaped appearance) (Theo shifts quickly backwards, avoiding it, Penelope shifts her attention concerned for Theo, in that moment the Tenebris she was fighting, hits her in the stomach) (Flies backwards, hits one of the trees at speed, slumps to the floor) (Eyes Wide, Panicked) Penelope!!! (Spins round, the Tenebris heading towards him, he focuses a blast from his shield, sending them flying backwards) In the distance a BLUE ORB, the size of a cricket ball floats down from above at speed towards Penelope, glowing bright blue, static electric flowing around it. (Follows the Orb with his eyes, distracted, continues to block the Tenebris with his magic) The Blue orbs electricity becomes stronger, getting closer to Penelope's Unconscious Form. (Panic Growing, eyes shifting from the Orb to the Tenebris)
4. NOOO!!! (He tries to get to Penelope) The Orb reaches Penelope before Theo can reach her, Electricity pulsing over Penelope's body. (Freezes, eyes wide in shock) (Tears start to stream down his furry face, as the Orb floats off) (Eyes shoot open glowing Blue, essence of the electricity flowing over her body) (Shocked breath, hit of a smile appearing on his face, relief) Both Tenebris, float up behind Theo, shifting from their humanoid appearance back into their sand cloud formation, edging closer towards him. (Penelope changes angle, looking through Theo) (She flies upwards and heads towards him at speed) (looks out the corner of his eye, then dives to the left) (she gains speed, firing herself through the Tenebris sand cloud) The Clouds disintegrates,blue/black/grey dust floating down towards the forest floor, the soil soaks it in, changing to glowing white fluid which creates a pathway towards the large tree hub.
5. (Lands on Forest Floor, Following the white trail with her eyes) (Breathing heavily, floats to Penelope's side) (Stuttering) Ar...are...Are you ok! (Turns from the white light, her eyes shift from the glowing blue back to her usual Hazel colour) (Calming) Im fine don't worry... (Turns to the tree hub, Theo follows her gaze, the White light has reached the Main Tree Hub) (White light shoots up through the trunk, restoring the light to the clearing) Lux Silvam tribes folk head towards Penelope and Theo, concerned expressions returning to happiness and relief. (Breaths Sigh of Relief) (Turns with a smile towards the Tribes Folk) Its Ok now they have gone, Its saf... (Swirling and cracking noises cam from behind him, he shifts quickly, Penelope already staring at its source) (The centre of the Main Tree Hub, a swirling Portal comes into view) (Reaches out and touches the surface, it feels like a light breeze on her finger) (The Portal blurred and revealed an image, clearing like when you focus a camera) (MORE)
6. (cont'd) (Theo and Penelope Look towards each other, then at the tribes folk then back at the Portal) Through the portal there where trees exactly like in Lux Silvam, (everyone looked on with Curious expressions) Tall trees surround the exterior borders of the city, with a few scattered within. Buildings in the centre all ranged in size and appearance. Above in the sky where the lights that lit the city, similar to the ones that light up Lux Silvam only bigger, their strong light blocked of the sky above. The City alive with people bustling around attending their daily business. A sign just inside the portal the left hand side read 'LUX CIVITEM' (Smiles Excitedly) (Looks Towards Theo) Looks like a lot more to explore to me, A Whole new City! (Smiles back) (looks towards the portal, hint of concern) But that means a hell of a lot more to Protect!
