1 QUOTATION NOTICE FOR STATIONERY ITEMS ( ) Sealed quotations are invited from reputed firms, dealers, the Consumer Cooperative Societies, Cooperative Welfare Societies and such other Cooperative societies primarily formed by educated unemployed persons engaged in sale of stationery items to undertake the supply of Office Stationery items for a period of one year for the use of Chief Pay & Accounts Office, Port Blair. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Quotation should be submitted in sealed cover superscribing Quotation for supply of Stationery items. 2. Quotation should be accompanied by EMD of Rs. 7000/- (Rupees Seven thousand only) as Account Payee Demand Draft, Fixed Deposit Receipt Banker s Cheque or Bank Guarantee from any of the commercial banks drawn in favour of the Pay & Accounts Officer-I, Port Blair, A & N Administration. 3. The EMD of all the bidders shall be released on finalization of the Tender/acceptance of the rate. The EMD of successful /accepted bidder shall be released on receipt of Performance Security from the successful/ accepted bidder. 4. To ensure due performance of the contract, Performance Security will be obtained from the successful bidder awarded with the contract for Rs. 7000/- in the form of Fixed Deposit Receipt or Bank Guarantee from a commercial bank drawn in favour of the Pay & Account s Officer-I, Port Blair. The Performance Security is to be submitted within 10 days from the date of award of contract. 5. Performance Security will be forfeited for non-supply of accepted items in time and breach of contract by the supplier. 6. Rate for sub-standard items or low in quality should not be quoted. 7. Rate may be quoted along with the Brand name/ make of each item. 8. Two different rates for the same item should not be quoted. 9. The firms should have a registered office at Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 10. Correction/overwriting/ fluiding in the Quotation should be avoided. 11. Firms should have sufficient stock of items and should be able to supply the same within seven days of placing indent order to this office. 12. The successful bidder has to produce samples of each item as and when asked and the acceptance of rate will be subject to the quality of the items. 13. The sealed quotations will be received in the tender box kept in the ground floor of this office building on or before 12/08/2015 (3.00 PM).The same will be opened at 3.30 PM on the same day in the presence of tenderers/ representatives, if any. 14. The Director of Accounts & Budget, A & N Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any offer in whole or in part without assigning any reason thereof.
