Lot 2: Office furniture BRIEF DESCRPTION OF TYPES OF GOODS REQUESTED: LOT 1: Stationery Items (Major types only) LOT 2: Furniture Items (Major types only) Please refer to Annex A below Please refer to Annex B below DEADLINE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF EOI: 15:00 hours (Local Time) The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Khartoum, Sudan is seeking to pre-qualify one or more suppliers that can provide a full range of above mentioned supply areas (Lots) to UNDP and its supported projects throughout Sudan. For this reason, the UNDP Procurement Unit in Khartoum invites qualified potential service providers to express their interest in Provision of above listed supply areas (Lots). The expressions of interest should express the ability to provide high quality products, including delivery to final destinations throughout Sudan. The Expression of Interest must be received by UNDP at the given address, no later than 07 th June, 2015, 15:00 hours (local time) with all required documentation. This Request for Expression of Interest does not constitute a solicitation. UNDP reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. UNDP also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents. Submitting a reply to a Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation documents when issued. Invitations to bid or requests for proposals and any subsequent purchase order or contract will be issued in accordance with the rules and procedures of UNDP. The cost of preparing your documents, including all related costs is not reimbursable nor can it be included in your future bid. UNDP will therefore issue respective solicitation documents to qualified companies who obtained the minimum qualifying score (70%) for provision of above mentioned supply areas (Lots). In order to be considered as a potential supplier, interested companies should submit their Expression of Interest including the following information:

2 Comprehensive company/ firm profile, include products proposed by the company/ firm to conduct the relevant component by lot or part thereof) not to exceed 15 pages. Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration and principal place of business. Financial reports for past two years, demonstrating the financial soundness of your company / firm. Documents to verify company/ firm work experience with similar projects in the concerned supply area (Lot). A specific listing of engagements, current or prior, in UN, UNDP and or UNDP funded activities, if any. A description of the nature and extent of activities similar to the selected component area (lot) that the firm has provided to former clients and contact details for further information on those contracts / Purchase Orders (POs). Supplier contact information (full name and address, country, telephone and fax numbers, address, website and contact person); and Brochures and other supporting materials describing offered products within supply area (Lot) with its dimension/technical specs supplied with relevance to the subject Reference list for previous deliveries of similar items/categories At least two letters of Recommendations. Annual number of contracts with its values for the last two years List of managerial personnel and other full time staff members qualified and competent involved sales personnel. Ownership status (sole owner, partnership, or corporation) supported by legal documentation. State additional services and benefits that make your company/ firm unique. Company/ Firm Preferences: Suppliers must indicate which categories (1-2) they wish to bid for. Lot 1: Lot 2: Stationary and Office Supplies. Office furniture In order to qualify for the bidding process for described goods, firms will be evaluated based on below evaluation criteria Criteria Bench Mark Marks Minimum of two years - 0 if company profile is missing Years of establishment - 3 marks if company profile submitted and company have 3 years or more since registration 5-1 mark for any additional year (max. of 2 years making total of 5 years) Background experience At least two years in supplying relevant items - 0 if registration document less than 3 years 20

3 Relevant experience Clients reference Financial Health Registration / legal status of supplier - 14 marks if company have 3 years or more since registration - 3 mark for any additional year (max. of 2 years making total of 5 years) At least 3 years + number of orders of same type of supplies completed during the last two years - 0 marks if no relevant experience - 20 marks if have 3 years of relevant experience - 5 marks for each additional year (max. of 2 years making total of 5 years) Certificate of satisfactory completion of delivery during the last two years, - 0 marks if no reference - 15 marks if provide at least 3 references - 5 marks for additional reference (s) Annual turnover in the last two years (to be supported by financial reports): - 0 marks if less than marks if inventory turnover ratio marks for ratio above 1.50 Legal status and registration certificates with appropriate government authority - 0 marks if not provided - 10 marks if provided Minimum qualifying marks for suppliers should be 70 marks Any requests for clarifications regarding the (stationeries and supplies should be sent to the address: fikri.albashir@undp.org, and any requests for clarifications regarding the office furniture should be sent to the address: mona.ibrahim@undp.org 5 days before the closing date above.
