3 A group of artists spent a week at the East Kunderang homestead last September during the fires that burned for months in the Macleay Valley in the Oxley Wild Rivers National park. This Friday an exhibition of the work created during and after this trip is opening at the Walcha Gallery of Art. Michelle Hungerford and Charmaine Pike from Tamworth, Stephen King, Julia Griffin and Gemma King from Walcha, Pene McKeown, Daniel Kyle and Andrew McDonald from Sydney and Angeliki Androutsopoulos from Melbourne will be showing a range of work including paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture.
