Choose and read one book from the reading list in the packet provided. 2.) Complete the fiction or nonfiction graphic organizer based on your book. *If your book is fiction, you will fill out the fiction graphic organizer. *If your book is nonfiction, you will fill out the nonfiction graphic organizer. 3.) Hand in this assignment on Friday, 9/14/18 to Ms. Schmitt to be graded as a 100- point Performance Based Assessment for the 1st Marking Period. *You should also be prepared to complete an additional in-class assignment in September using your knowledge from the book. Ms. Schmitt will give you more information about this in-class assignment once school begins. ***Please note, if you had Ms. Schmitt last year, you must choose a DIFFERENT BOOK than the one you completed for your summer reading last year or you will not get credit for this assignment.
