5 B. If your choice to travel from the Airport to the Bucharest centre will be by TAXI, please read the information given at Few comments/advices are highlighted below. As of Wednesday, June 15, 2016, licensed taxis without prior request, with fares of up to up 1.40 lei/km, will be available for passengers arriving at Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport. These cars will be situated in a taxi station located at the exit of the terminal and will take passengers in order of arrival. The touch screen terminals for taxi requests will still be available for customers who want to order taxi from a certain company. Licensed taxi cars which charge more than 1.40 lei/km and unlicensed taxis will still be available on the ground floor, in front of the Arrivals terminal. Each of the taxi stations - taxi with a maximum fare of 1.40 lei/km, for taxi on request and for other taxis - will be clearly signposted. Attention!
