1 THE DINOFF SCHOOL SUMMER READING 2017 The Dinoff School encourages all of its students to continue reading as part of our summer reading program. It is our goal to make reading a pleasurable activity and a learning experience. Reading provides many benefits besides the obvious increase in vocabulary skills and general knowledge. Therefore, as we prepare to instruct your son or daughter at The Dinoff School in the fall, we want to inform students, parents and guardians of the reading assignment for the 2017 Summer Reading Program. Assignment for Everyone: 1. There are two required readings for each grade and one of your choice. 2. Prepare to take a test and join in on a class discussion over the required books that you read in the first week of school. Both the quiz and discussion will be graded. Please have your parents sign the attached verification listing the other book(s) that you have chosen. KINDERGARTEN Reading is like taking a vitamin; you must do it every day!
