Their design encouraged applications where high operating frequencies and small spaces are important requirements. 6 Traction contactors type LTHS Overview Microelettrica Scientifica traction contactors are designed to be used in presence of the most severe shocks and vibrations. The LTHS series contactor displays a traditional design which enables them to with stand the highest current ratings in harsh working conditions. All of the LTHS series can be manufactured in single or multipolar form and allow a very high degree of customisation. With the advancement of an indirect blow out circuit the arcextinguishing technology allows the contactor to work indifferently to both AC and DC currents. 8 Traction contactors type LTHH Overview The LTHH is specifically used where high voltage is required up to 4V, their narrow outline is especially conceived for applications where space is a critical issue. Poles can me manufactured in normally open or normally closed configurations with indirect blow out circuit. 10 Bar type contactor N Series Overview Due to their strong construction and highly efficient performance, the N series contactors are particularly suitable for heavy duties and for all services where a high degree of reliability is required. The bar assembling system allows for a wide selection in the number and type of main poles, antiarc devices, auxiliary contacts and control voltages. They also allow for very easy inspection and servicing with immediate access to all components parts, without removing the contactor or disconnection of the electrical circuit. N Control circuit The laminated magnetic circuit, in the moveable as well as fixed part, is made with three limbs in which the coil is housed. The supply can be in AC or DC with economy resistor, and the unique design provides very strong attraction with low coil consumption and regular movement. Special care has been applied in the magnetic circuit, to assure that the closing and opening of the contacts is performed in a single continuous movement, without vibration or bounce, even with relatively unstable voltages. Continuous operation is also maintained even with drops in voltage, whilst still maintaining strong pressure on contacts. Coils are constructed with quality materials, insulated according to the latest standards.
