4 Diarad Interface Document SovIM (DIDIM) page :4 rev4 3. Introduction The flight conditions on the ISS drive us to modify some of the hardware of the diarad compared to the Eureca mission. For instance, we will not have the two photometric channels nor the four quadrant monitor. We will use those channels to increase the housekeeping s to better the knowledge of the thermal behavior of the instrument. There is no change on the electrical interface of the instrument, there are some changes on the tests connectors to improve the test functionalities. 4. Block schematic Radiometric head K01 Analoog J08 electronics DPU S J09 K04 K03 Tests connectors One can see on this sketch the different connectors coming out the electronics box of Diarad_Sovim. K01 is the interface between the radiometric head and the DIARAD electronics. J08 is the digital interface to the DPU. J09 is the Power cable. K03 and K04 are tests connectors used for ground tests. For flight operations, some shortcircuits will be implemented on those connectors.

In our case, there is only one wire to our secondary ground it is the signal SGND on J Timing of data / commands BIT CMD/STAT DATA UIM SHIFT CLOCK BIT ACCEPT WORD ACCEPT -0.5ms -19.6µs This is the traditional timing diagram, but the exact timing will be defined by PMOD to take into account the timing changes in the TIM. According to the information reseived from PMOD during the meeting of 04/04/2000 to 06/04/2000, the UIM shift Clock will have a frequency of 52 KHz so the duration of transmission is at least 16* E-6 = µsec, and the bit 15 is transmitted first.
