When the 1250 is placed in Peak mode the only difference between the two wrenches is that the 1250 has a grey display mask and the display mask on the 1200 Series is blue. Either way you have COMPLETE CONTROL over your quality settings. The 1200 Series uses 4-NiMH rechargeable AA batteries The 1250 Series uses a single NiMH rechargeable battery cartridge
