2. WLAN Coverage Map A WLAN coverage map shows the estimated WiFi coverage (signal strength in dbm) across the floor. For typical enterprise data applications, WLAN coverage with minimum signal strength of -75 dbm is recommended. For real-time applications such as VoIP, minimum signal strength coverage of -65 dbm is recommended. WLAN coverage for a: Signal Distribution Percentage Area % 36.65% > -55 dbm-55 to -70 (Excellent) dbm (Very Good) 24.34% 30.85% -70 to -80 < -80 dbm dbm (Poor) (Good) Signal Strength Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 5 of 18

WLAN coverage for g: Signal Distribution % Percentage Area % 12.43% 2.74% 0 > -55 dbm (Excellent) -55 to -70 dbm (Very Good) -70 to -80 dbm (Good) Signal Strength < -80 dbm (Poor) 3. AP Coverage Redundancy Map An AP coverage redundancy map shows the number of APs that cover any location on the floor. With redundancy of two or more, if an AP shuts down for some reason, then clients associated with that AP can connect to other APs covering that region. This map can be used for planning the desired AP redundancy at different locations on the floor. Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 6 of 18

AP Coverage Redundancy for a: AP Coverage Redundancy for g: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 7 of 18

4. Channel Allocation Map A channel allocation map shows the allocation of channels for the various APs on the floor. This map can be used for planning the channel assignment for a specific protocol to minimize interference. Channel Allocation for a: Channel Allocation for g: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 8 of 18

5. Channel Interference Map A channel interference map shows the level of interference (among the various APs) across the floor. This map can be used to view the amount of co-channel interference or adjacent channel interference or a combination of both. The transmission power and the channels assigned to the various APs influence the interference level. Channel Interference for a: Channel Interference Distribution 100% 100 Percentage Area No Channel Interference Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 9 of 18

Channel Interference for g: Percentage Area Channel Interference Distribution 97.1% 2.9% No Negligible Channel Interference Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 10 of 18

6. Link Speed Map A link speed map shows the estimated link speed coverage across the floor for a chosen protocol. The link speed coverage at a given location indicates the estimated link speed with which a client can expect to connect to the wireless LAN. Link Speed for a: Link Speed Distribution Percentage Area % 26.5% 18.5% 2.1% 54 Mbps 48 Mbps 24 Mbps 11 Mbps Link Speed Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 11 of 18

Link Speed for g: % Link Speed Distribution Percentage Area % 11 Mbps 1 Mbps Link Speed Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 12 of 18

7. Security Exposure Map This map shows the level of signal spillage outside the layout perimeter. It is assumed that the layout perimeter constitutes the physical boundary of the premises and any signal spilling outside the perimeter can be received by an outsider. The estimated spillage is calculated assuming default power and antenna configuration used in most WiFi devices. A hacker could use a high gain antenna to receive the signal farther away from the building in which case the potential spillage will be more. Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 13 of 18

8. Sensor Coverage Map A sensor coverage map shows the sensor detection and prevention coverage. The map can be used to visualize the area over which sensors can reliably detect wireless threats and the area over which the sensors can reliably prevent or block wireless threats. Sensor Coverage for a: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 14 of 18

Sensor Coverage for g: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 15 of 18

9. Sensor Redundancy Map A sensor redundancy map shows the number of sensors that cover any location on the floor. This map can be used for planning the desired sensor redundancy at different locations on the floor for detection, prevention, and location tracking of wireless threats. Sensor Redundancy for a: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 16 of 18

Sensor Redundancy for g: Copyright 2009 AirTight Networks, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 17 of 18

10. Sensor External Map This map shows the level of sensor coverage outside the designated layout area. Higher Sensor coverage indicates a better protection against the security exposure outside the premises. Please contact planningservices@airtightnetworks.com if you have any questions about the information provided in this report. Disclaimer SpectraGuard Planner is a predictive RF planning tool that estimates the RF coverage based on the obtained sitespecific information (e.g., layout material) and a combination of empirical observations and theoretical predictions for protocols. Nonetheless, the observed signal strength in reality may differ somewhat from the coverage predicted by Planner due to the inherent dynamic nature of the RF environment and factors beyond the scope of Planner.
