Abstract:- The main objective of this project is to design an portable advanced mobile phone which can avoid accident occurrence without disturbing a person in any way either by over speed or calls or messages while driving. This project is designed for tracking the location of vehicles, over speed detection, auto reply while we are travelling and automatically get a contacts details via sms from mobile phone when a person is driving or busy and if any accident occur then immediately (inform) send a SMS to concerned persons along with location. Most of tracking systems are made by using GPS. This is very typical logic to implement and is of low cost. Tacking systems are mostly used by fleet operators for tracking a vehicle location, routing and others. This is a very good method for preventing our vehicles accidents over speed control from individual. This tracking system sends us the geographical coordinates and by using these coordinates we can track our vehicle position on electronic maps using internet. By using these tacking systems we can share real time information about transportations. Here in this system we are using the GSM module for sending the coordinates. To automatically send messages of user such as contact details and auto reply during driving. GPS sends the coordinates continuously in form of string, after reading this string using Arduino extract the required data from string and then sends it to mobile phone using GSM module via SMS. This information is called latitude and longitude. GPS uses 3 or 4 satellite for tracking the location of any device. Keywords: geographical, emergency messages, tracking. I. In today s world, women safety has become a major issue as they can t step out of their house at any given time due to physical/sexual abuse and a fear of violence. Even in the 21st century where the technology is rapidly growing and new gadgets were developed but still women s and girls are facing problems. Women are adept at mobilizing diverse groups for a common reason. They often work across ethnic, religious, political, and cultural divides to promote liberty. We are all aware of importance of women safety, but we must analyze that they should be properly protected. Women are not as physically fit as men, in an emergency situation a helping hand would be assistance for them. The best way to curtail your probability of becoming a dupe of violent crime (robbery, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence) is to recognize, defence and look up resources to help you out of hazardous situation. If you're in dilemma or get split from friends during a night out and don't know how to find back residence, this device with y o u w i l l g u a r d y o u a n d c a n r e d u c e y o u r r i s k a n d b r i n g assistance when you need it. There are several app reduce the risk of sexual assault on women by informing control center and their associates through SMS, but in lay of those this apparatus have much more efficient way to inform those this respected personals and also has a defending system which cannot be provided by existing app. Page No:695
2 II. ANALYSIS Women s security is a critic Al issue in today s world and it s very much needed for every individual to be acting over such an issue. This paper describes a GPS and GSM based Women security system that provides the combination of GPS device and specialized software to track the vehicle s Location as well as provide alerts and messages with an Emergency button trigger. Now days due to recently happened cases such as rape by Drivers or colleagues, burglary etc., employee security, especially women employee security has become the foremost priority of the companies. System uses the global Positioning system technology to find out the location of Vehicle. The information of vehicle position provided by the Device can be viewed on Google maps using internet or specialized software. The It companies are looking forward to the security Problem and requires a system that will efficiently evaluate the problem of women employees security working in night Shifts. III. PROPOSED SYSTEM This proposed system Advanced mobile phone is an portable one which an individual can carry in any vehicle in which he/she is travelling. Along with accident and over speed detection this system includes additional features such as auto reply while driving and automatically sending contact details to registered mobile numbers when they send a message with particular contact name by searching that contact details automatically from the advanced mobile phone so that one cannot get disturbed during driving or when one is busy. RELATED WORK LCD GPS RELAY MOTOR A. ARM 7 LPC 2148 The LPC2148 microcontrollers are based on a 32/16 bit ARM7TDMI-S CPU with real-time emulation and embedded trace support, that combines the microcontroller with embedded high speed flash memory ranging from 32 kb to 512 kb. A 128-bit wide memory interface and unique accelerator architecture enable 32-bit code execution at the maximum clock rate. For critical code size applications, the alternative 16-bit Thumb mode reduces code by more than 30 % with minimal performance penalty. Due to their tiny size and low power consumption, LPC2141/2/4/6/8 are ideal for applications where miniaturization is a key requirement, such as access control and pointof-sale. A blend of serial communications interfaces ranging from a USB 2.0 Full Speed device, multiple UARTS, SPI, SSP to I2Cs and onchip SRAM of 8 kb up to 40 kb, make these devices very well suited for communication gateways and protocol converters, soft modems, voice recognition and low end imaging, providing both large buffer size and high processing power. Various 32-bit timers, single or dual 10-bit ADC(s), 10-bit DAC, PWM channels and 45 fast GPIO lines with up to nine edge or level sensitive external Interrupt pins make these microcontrollers particularly suitable for industrial control and Medical systems. Features 16/32-bit ARM7TDMI-S microcontroller in a tiny LQFP64 package. 8 to 40 kb of on-chip static RAM and 32 to 512 kb of on-chip flash program memory.128 bit wide interface/accelerator enables high speed 60 MHz operation. 3 Embedded ICE RT and Embedded Trace interfaces offer real-time debugging with the onchip Real Monitor software and high speed tracing of instruction execution. USB 2.0 Full Speed compliant Device Controller with 2 kb of endpoint RAM. In addition, the LPC2146/8 provides 8 kb of on-chip RAM accessible to USB by DMA. One or two (LPC2141/2 vs. LPC2144/6/8) 10-bit A/D converters provide a total of 6/14 analog inputs, with conversion times as low as 2.44 μs per channel. Single 10-bit D/A converter provide variable analog output. Two 32-bit timers/external event counters (with four capture and four compare channels each), PWM unit (six outputs) and watchdog. Low power real-time clock with independent power and dedicated 32 khz clock input. Multiple serial interfaces including two UARTs (16C550), two Fast I2C-bus (400 kbit/s), SPI and SSP with buffering and variable data length capabilities. Vectored interrupt controller with configurable priorities and vector addresses. Up to 45 of 5 V tolerant fast general purpose I/O pins in a tiny LQFP64 package. B. MEMS Sensor Polysilicon springs suspend the MEMS structure above the substrate such that the body of the sensor (also known as the proof mass) can move in the X and Y axes. Acceleration causes deflection of the proof mass from its centre position. Around the four sides of the square proof mass are 32 sets of radial fingers. These fingers are positioned between plates that are fixed to the substrate. Each finger and pair of fixed plates make up a differential capacitor, and the deflection of the proof mass is determined by measuring the differential capacitance. This sensing method has the ability of sensing both dynamic acceleration (i.e. shock or vibration) and static acceleration (i.e. inclination or gravity). The differential capacitance is measured using synchronous modulation/demodulation techniques. After amplification, the X and Y axis acceleration signals each go through a 32KOhm resistor to an output pin (Cx and Cy) and a duty cycle modulator (the overall architecture can be seen in the block diagram in Figure 3). The user may limit the bandwidth, and thereby lower the noise floor, by adding a capacitor at the Cx and Cy pin. The output signals are voltage proportional to acceleration and pulse-width-modulation (PWM) proportional to acceleration. Using the PWM outputs, the user can interface the ADXL2O2 directly to the digital inputs of a microcontroller using a counter to decode the PWM. Fig 2. MEMS Sensor C. GSM The words, Mobile Station (MS) or Mobile Equipment (ME) are used for mobile terminals Supporting GSM services. A call from a GSM mobile station to the PSTN is called a mobile originated call (MOC) or Outgoing call, and a call from a fixed network to a GSM mobile station is called a mobile Terminated call (MTC) or incoming call. GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is an open, digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services. What does GSM offer? GSM supports voice calls and data transfer speeds of up to 9.6 kbit/s, together with the transmission of SMS (Short Message Service). Fig 3. GSM Modem GSM operates in the 900MHz and 1.8GHz bands in Europe and the 1.9GHz and 850MHz bands in the US. The 850MHz band is also used for GSM and 3G in Australia, Canada and many South American countries. By having harmonised spectrum across most of the globe, GSM s international roaming capability allows users to access the same services when travelling abroad as at home. This gives consumers seamless and same number connectivity in more than 218 countries. Terrestrial GSM networks now cover more than 80% of the world s population. GPS satellite system The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a U.S. space-based radio navigation system that provides reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services to civilian users on a continuous worldwide basis -- freely available to all. For anyone with a GPS receiver, the system will provide location and time. GPS provides accurate location and time information for an unlimited number of people in all weather, day and night, anywhere in the world. The GPS is made up of three parts: 1. Satellites orbiting the Earth 2. Control and monitoring stations on Earth 3. The GPS receivers owned by users. GPS satellites broadcast signals from space that are picked up and identified by GPS receivers. Each GPS receiver then provides three-dimensional location (latitude, longitude, and altitude) plus the time. 1. SPACE SEGMENT 24+ satellites 20,200 km altitude 55 degrees inclination 12 hour orbital period 5 ground control stations Each satellite passes over a ground monitoring station every 12 hours V.RESULTS When the power supply is given to the system the transformers converts 230v dc to 12v ac and then the bridge rectifier converts the ac to dc and gives 12v dc to GSM module and 5v dc to all other components and then the GSM reads the required data from the sim and then transfer it to ARM controller. whenever an accident or over speed is occurs it is detected by the MEMS sensor, GPS with the help of latitude and longitude and sends the alerts to arm which then sends to GSM the GSM sends the data and alerts to the mobile numbers which are registered earlier. Hence we can get the location of accident or over speed alert or messages of contact details and driving alert with the help of this kit. VI. CONCLUSION & FUTURE WORK The project advanced mobile phone has been successfully designed and tested. Integrating features of all the hardware components used have developed it. Presence of every module has been reasoned out and placed carefully thus contributing to the best working of the unit. Secondly, using highly advanced IC s and with the help of growing technology the project has been successfully implemented. The future scope for this project can be we can give access to camera also in the mobile phone so that images of the accident victim and vehicle can be captured and sent to concerned persons to know the severity of accident.
