3 Experiment 2: Measuring Individuals Each mosquito from each bugdorm from experiment 1 was placed individually into a small flight chamber with the sensor. 4 True Species, same wing lengths gambia s.s Difference between the medianswing lengths: An. 4 µm shorter (compared to 139 µm longer in the population measured in experiment 2) Difference between the medianswing beat frequency: An. still 42,5 Hz lower (compared to 41.4 from the total population measured in experiment 2, and 45 Hz from experiment 1) Laboratory-reared had a by 41.4 to 45 Hz lower wing beat frequency than laboratory-reared Laboratory-reared had149 µm longer wingsthan laboratory-reared The difference in wing beat frequencies can however not be attributed to the differences in wing length: Comparing two populationswith the same wing length still exhibited the difference in wing beat frequencies (42.5 Hz) And now Ae. aegypti Ae. albopictus Cx. pipiens Cx. quinquefasciatus An.
