GENERAL INFORMATION ytec project is a cusm XM/ Mainframe which has been configured control a variety of relays, splitters, couplers and filters. The configuration of the matrix was based upon Seakr SD # dated //. The majority of the information for individual ytec components and programming syntax can be found in the main XM Manual. This addendum covers the specific configuration of the components used and will be the most important document for controlling the system and understanding exactly what it does. An overview of the chassis power and drive components is shown in Drawing #. Most of these components are located below a shelf which holds the microwave components. Relays are also labeled with their programmatic address. A signal wiring list for coax cable assemblies are shown on Drawing. A full schematic of the RF paths is shown in Drawing. This drawing is based upon the drawing provided with the SD and has had the programmatic addresses for each relay added, as well as the connecr # s. This allows you quickly find the relay addresses needed make a connection between any two points. A rear panel view of the chassis is shown in Drawing #. This rear panel view shows both the physical arrangement of the connecrs and the labels which correspond the signal destination. The test data spreadsheet at the end of this addendum lists the paths measured for Insertion Loss, VSWR and Isolation. The results of these tests have been made available on ytec s website for download but will be removed once the unit has been acceptance tested by the end user. All test data will be maintained at ytec and is available upon request.
