5 Wood Surf Board This sign for the Hula Girl Surf School innovatively combines the techniques of digital printing with CNC routing. The vinyl-on-sintra R print-to-cut graphics were cut out using a Vision 2550 CNC router with DACS (Digitally Aligned Cutting System). This camera identi ed the borders of the image using registration dots and accurately cut out the printed image. The wood material used for the surfboard backing was routed, engraved, stained and painted. The graphic was then inlaid ush into the routed wood piece.
