At the Altamira Cave in Spain, home to some of the world s most famous prehistoric art, the Konica Minolta non-contact 3D Digitizer was used to take three-dimensional images of 2600 square meters of wall surface covered with prehistoric paintings. The resulting data was used to create a full-size threedimensional model of the cave that fully preserves the beauty of the original paintings, enabling visitors to fully experience our ancient cultural assets without destroying it.
