3 CONTRAST Camera settings Canon EOS 550D 18-35mm Sigma Art-series 1/60 sec f/1.8 ISO 100 Focal length: 35mm This photography is taken in my living room where I made this small photo studio of black clothing and chairs. The light source is in fact the sun coming through my ceiling to wall window. I took somewhere about photographs of these flowers. And when I looked through the photos I came across this, which was so much more perfect than I could ve imagine. The flowers extend perfectly from one corner in a light curve. The focus is great at both the flower and the bud, which was a problem at a large proportion of the pictures. I would call this crisp sharp. The contrast is represented in both the colors, strong black against the clear white flower, and also through the large sprung flower compared to the little bud.

4 CURVES AND LINES For this picture I walked through the city for a whole day. I had gotten inspirations for locations and photographic ideas from different medias online. I took me a while to capture a picture without any people in it, even though it was late at the evening there were always some people using the metro in Copenhagen. The thought when I shot this picture was to completely keep all the symmetry and visualize this clear through the photography. There are several set of lines which I tried to compose at the best way possible. I am really satisfied with the outcome of my work and it definitely defines the category curves and lines. The lines are seen at the walls, roof, escalators and floor, and the curves are seen in the railings for the escalators. I captured the light as it was with the aperture at 1 second, which also made the steps in the escalators fade into one solid grey colour. I don t think this affect the perception of the photography. 5 DEPTH Camera settings Canon EOS 550D 18-55mm Canon Focal length: 55mm 1/15 sec f/10 ISO 640 The first time I looked at the task description, there was this thick fog lying in the train track where I live. I immediately thought that I were going to photograph this setting later on for the category misty/veil, but when I looked at the results I figured out that this actually suited the category depth as well. There is a foreground, middle ground as well as the fading background, but you can also feel the depth because the train track drags you into the picture towards the fog in the distance. This photograph was taken quite early in the process of MA04 so I played a lot around with different settings in M, Av and Av mode. The lens that I used came in the set with the camera and this is the only picture taken with this lens. I really prefer the new lens with the lower aperture. I did not have a tripod or low f-stop for this picture so I had to use a higher ISO to get the best light for the picture, but it still worked out great. I think this image is well composed and has a great effect on the viewer with its compelling depth that drags the eyes towards the fog.

9 DRAW WITH LIGHT FINAL THOUGHTS 20mm / 12 sec / f/8 / ISO 100 Throughout this task I ve taken several photographs which definitely has made my photographs of higher quality. I think more about the composition inside the frame and I can easily maneuver in the settings of the camera and adjust them so that the images get the qualities that I want. But I do admit that it is quite a challenge to go out and learn instead of just watch hours of lessons and tips to photographs. I live in the capital of Denmark close to the centrum so there is always someone watching your focus on the camera and needs to pass you subject and so on, so I in the start I really felt like an amateur making chaos. But after some tours around with my camera around the neck it became easier and I also felt like more and more sure in what I did so that helped to focus on my self and no one else. I really appreciate this subject and the art of photography and know that there will always be more to learn and ways to improve the shots. And most importantly, the images look way different on a big computer screen so I cannot ever trust the small digital screen on the camera. And also, take 10 shoots too much than one too little.
